I think Megyn Kelly is a Class Act
8/10/2015 | Nikos 1121

I've agonized, like many here, these past couple days. I honestly believed there was a concerted effort to embarrass and knock Trump off, a conspiracy if you will, but I’ve come full circle and now feel differently, very differently.

I don’t think there was any conspiracy. I think the Fox trio, worked hard to challenge the candidates, and independently from Rupert Murdock or Ailes or anyone else.

Right out of the gate it was great TV. After the opening salvo, you didn’t want to turn your tv off.

And what happened? Each candidate was hit with a zinger. Trump was hit the most, and I doubt that anyone else running for office could have answered like he did.

He swatted their best shots as well as Newt would.

And what else happened? Fox tried to take the rest of the group out with tough questions. And they all rose to the occasion, except maybe Bush, who seemed to play it safe...perhaps Walker too.

I think all in all Fox showed why the interviews of Obama are a big joke. Obama or Hillary could never stand up to the barrage that our side took last week.

And I am proud of everyone, including Chris, Kelly and Brett... and all of our candidates.

I pray that eventually we will all coalesce and unite. I think Trump can and will do that. It makes no sense to run third party... makes no sense. He's way ahead now, and he's taking shots left and right.

What is left now, is for someone to sit down with him, and ask him some serious policy questions about our country, and how he sees us winning. He can tell us. It's right there in his book, Making America No. One Again.

I'm waiting for some one like Kelly to have read the book and ask him questions on what he says in the book.

The bottom line, if you can't handle Chris, Kelly and Brett, how in the heck are you going to handle Putin, the Chinese, the Iranians etc?

I hope Trump rises to the occasion and doesn’t op out on any future debates. I hope he remain himself.

I think he will. He fired his manager, who apparently was a milktoast.

If Kelly is smart she'll find some way to make it right with Trump. She'll invite him back on her show.

He'll refuse of course, then eventually he'll accept, and it will be the biggest show of her career, and the two will be best of friends.

You know why? because she is a lot like Trump.

She's a class act. She could taken Erickson's invite, who btw is a classless act, a joke and a loser.

In short, I am excited. The top four, Trump, Cruz, Carson and Carli and all outsiders. What does that tell you folks!!!!?

She could have asked questions of substance from any number of his books. She opted to gutter dwell and dredge up a throwaway out-of-context remark he made on a reality show. Not one other of the candidates received a tawdry question like that.

Kelly has no class. She is a paid shill. She traded her bikini and sex talk for faux respectability.

I agree, and if you read my posts, I was just as mad as all of you here, but I listened to her interview Friday night...and she’s taken it like a winner. She knows she’s taking hits. Trump should respect that.

Trump, holds the outcomes here. He can play to win, and unite or he can be the sore loser.

I think he plays the cards straight and brings, in the end, all of us together. I think in the end he’s the nice guy.

Then we all go after the dems...

I mean, what is not to like. He wants Trey Gowdy as AG? He wants Sara in the cabinet. He’s going to put the best people, business people, in with him.

I can’t wait, but he needs to answer the tough questions, and knock off the defensive nature each time.

Next time, be like Newt, and don’t answer.

She actually was in bed in her hotel room at 3pm sick as a dog with nausea and vomiting, sweating. She thought it was food poisoning. She was about to call in that she was not going to make the debate. She then took an anti-emetic, and felt better...to the point from she kinda rose again as she was not going to make it a few hours before the debate.

Demon transfers can do that. She was told not to eat before stepping into the magic circle, but the little fool probably snuck some cookies, and then paid for it later.

Well, that's what happens when you open the black arts to children, they stick their fingers into the flames and then are so surprised when they get burned.

Pssh. Amateurs.

Of course you wish you had a girl friend like Megan. You hint at that type of trapped in the looks guy who just goes no further. Sort of the male counterpart to those women who wish they had a boyfriend like Trump, those women trapped in the rich guy going no further. America and Free Republic really needs little different approach to the dire circumstances our culture is in than you are exhibiting.

I’d say she was a mean girl, but Trump needs to grow a pair and stop crying and staying up all night posting insults. Not really Presidential. We already have a butthurt crybaby in the oval office.

And the so called Fox mediator will have THE VIEW tomorrow misrepresenting the facts to a nation of somewhat gullible women who won't remember the Rosie attack on the Trump kids from their studio.

You think Kelly did women a favor by not gathering information on pressing issues instead of being ridiculous.

"But...I stood *up* for her..."(sniff)

(turns away, crying)

'But...someday, she'll notice. And you'll see. ALL of you."

(Later that evening, a sound of a keyboard clicking is heard from his mother's basement...)

"Dear Megyn, ..."

When I was much younger and in Vietnam, my “dream girl” was Jane Fonda. When I became aware of her being in North Vietnam, for whatever reason, that dream girl concept immediately vanished - never to return - even to this day.

Tho not my dream girl, roughly the same thing happened when Ms. Kelly decided, for whatever reason, to speak as she did.

Just my $0.02.

Yes, a real lady, talking to Howard Stern about the size of her husband’s penis; quite ladylike, that.

And referring to her bra cup size and her breasts as Killer Bees. People who live in glass houses....(should pull the drapes)

It tells me that the media has no proper role in selecting candidates for office.

Wait till our eventual nominee has to face the leftist moderators of CNN; MSNBC et al.

The Republican will need a very tough skin then.

Uhhh...she sure as hell isn’t on MY side.

I would go for one-on-one and rotating opponents with the same questions. That would scare hell out of a non-principled, inarticulate candidate. Consistency from one debate to another would be critical. I would not have problems with the use of social media. Allow the people to select the debate topics and questions. Have a time keeper instead of a moderator or have neither.

She’s on The View tomorrow? It’s amazing to see the libs on Facebook stop calling Fox Faux for once. How long will that last, I wonder?

I wish I could subscribe to the "in the end, we are all a happy family" mentality but that is just being naive.

There is currently an internal war going on in the GOP. On one side, you have the establishment GOP (GOPe), who have watered down the Republican brand, giving us "moderate" presidential nominees such as Mitt Romney, John McCain, the Bushes, and Bob Dole. On the other side, you have the scrappy "Tea Party" conservatives who want to push the GOP back to the right and bring back the glory of the Reagan years.

Don't forget that your heroine Megyn Kelly was directly hired by Roger Ailes, who is as establishment GOP as you can get. He personally consulted for the Bushes for many years and also gave his blessing to Mitt Romney four years ago. Roger Ailes personally interviews every Fox News on-air employee to ensure that they will be under his thumb will convey the right message.

So Ailes and FoxNews will do whatever they can to destroy the candidacy of Donald Trump. And if they are successful with that, they will then turn their sights to Ted Cruz and any other non-establishment candidate that gets in the way of another Bush. Or another GOPe acceptable candidate.

The clincher for me, as to the LENGTHS the “Mods” will go to, and how stoooopid they think the viewers are, is that after those weeks of gloating, giggling and snickering about their dastardly “cunning” plans to derail Trump....

The next evening, Friday, Baier and Wallace were given BOR’s time slot to lie their butts off, claiming that no special intent had gone into preparation of the questions, and that nothing in particular was aimed at any certain candidate.

I’ve written “Ichabod” over Faux News, at least until they do a mea culpa.
