PHOENIX - An Arizona man who admitted to decapitating his wife and her two dogs in a bloody incident last month in Phoenix told authorities he was attempting "to get the evil out" of her, according to court documents released on Monday.
Kenneth Dale Wakefield, 43, also told police that he had smoked marijuana and the designer drug Spice about an hour before the gruesome killings in a Phoenix apartment on the morning of July 25, the documents showed.
Wakefield, a transient with a history of mental illness who also maimed himself in the incident, was booked into a Maricopa County jail Aug. 1 on one count of first-degree murder and two counts of animal cruelty after being released from a local hospital. He is being held on $2 million bond.

I think he played the chainsaw.
Any chick that would marry this guy must’ve had no chance in life.
They met in a locked mental health facility. It was love at first bite.
The mugshot is actually what Spooge looked like after they pulled him out from under the ATM.
he hurt his dogs? needs to be reported to the ASPCA!
” he had smoked marijuana and the designer drug Spice “
“Drugs are victimless crimes©”
Looks like a Democrat.
Or at least not a raving homicidal/suicidal lunatic. Considering the crimes were committed an hour after he lit up, there appears to be a suggestion of cause and effect. Sane before, temporarily insane during the high. Like PCP or bath salts.

JRY 5:13 am October 5th, 2011 I just returned from taking my husband to the Psych ward. He was a heavy spice user for about a year. A month ago he stopped using and started having severe anxiety. Then delusions and hallucinations and Mania set in. He is in for a long road to recovery. He thought using the legal stuff was better than the illegal or alcohol. (He has been a substance abuser since 15). This is horrible stuff! Stay away from it!

And on and on, with mixed results....unpredictable results.
Drugs are victimless crimes©
No need for the /s tag, I get it!
Case in point -- the criminal that mercilessly gunned down the Memphis cop was making a 1.7 gram MJ drug deal, er, excuse me, was engaging in a victimless crime in the back seat of the car the officer spotted parked illegally.
what woman in her right mind would marry a guy like this?
One, according to the article, he met in a mental illness facility.
Mr. Fire meet Ms. Gasoline... and her two dogs.
Congratulations on the stupidest post of 2015.
Hey, I heard a guy on meth had a beer and went on a rampage.
Damn beer makes people crazy, eh?
Now to be known as the one eyed murder Mullah Wakefield.
Well, did it work?
Yup.
Yeah, but now he has a double dose!
Sorry I did not make it clear.
No, he gouged his eye out with his fingers.
As I said, the nervous doctors are going to be busy.
Oh yes I remember that one now. HOLY JESUS help us.
If taxing drugs like marijuana at a rate comparable to taxes on alcohol is what is meant by “taxing the hell out of them,” then you would generate a lot of tax revenue and you wouldn’t have much of a black market. Cigarettes are taxed a bit too much, which is why a black market is developing in cigarettes. Then you could shift law enforcement to violent offenders and preventing the sale of drugs to minors. Also, prison spaces could be opened up so we can lock the criminally insane away forever.
The following is from the National Institute of Drugs. Spice, or synthetic marijuana, consists of dried plant material. It looks like potpourri. Although the five chemical compounds most frequently contained in Spice are illegal (like marijuana), apparently the product is sold in many head shops. In any case, here is what the NID says:
“Spice users report experiences similar to those produced by marijuanaelevated mood, relaxation, and altered perceptionand in some cases the effects are even stronger than those of marijuana. Some users report psychotic effects like extreme anxiety, paranoia, and hallucinations.”
Bingo. I think that’s it. Just like people react differently to alcohol, so too do they react differently to Spice. Most people mellow out. Some people have psychotic reactions.
