Moon brighter than normal tonight, a blue moon ?
What does the space station look like flying in the sky ?
I saw something flying in the sky brighter than a airplane and it didn't have blinking lights.

We’ve got a really bright, full one near Buffalo, but not blue... I would love to see one! This July 4 th, we had a large, orange-red, low-hanging moon... I stopped on the way home from a friend’s, saw it, and took a picture. Stuff like that is so cool!

The Moon is 3 days before perigee and it’s full, so this is close to as large and bright as it gets.
“Blue Moon” has nothing to do with it, in case you were wondering. The only reason it’s called “blue” is the timing, not the color, size or intensity.

I’ve been strangely attracted to the moon lately (past 2 weeks). It’s like something’s drawing me to it. Something different about it.

there are just about 37 lunations (lunar cycles) in every 36 months. So-called blue moons must occur once every three years but never in a february. A lunation is a bit more than 29-1/2 days and, even in a leap year, february just doesn’t measure up.
