And will they also join the latest movement, to have more than the two sexes listed on applications, if the person doesn’t identify as either male or female???

... university administrators were concerned that below-average test scores were leading some otherwise strong students to not apply...

Is this a comment on the tests or the students taking the tests? Just another example of lowering the bar. After all, we wouldn't want our future voters to know anything, would we?

A much fairer way for George Washington University to handle this would be to just issue a free diploma that "activates" four years after the high school senior applies.

No need for classes, labs, tuition, professors, a campus, and all those other pesky details. Ensure it is free, too.

Admissions will be based on skin color, naturally.

Good luck with all that.

Pretty soon their entire student body will consist of Bloods and Crips.

Hmmmmm....obviously unmanipulated high school GPAs? Racial check offs, political party, sexual identity status? Golf score? Jail time? LEFT or right handed?

Pray tell, what are the overarching selection criteria now? Anything as crass as money?

I’m conflicted here.

On the one hand, seeing the College Board lose its iron (and corrupt) grip on testing is a good thing.

On the other hand, as a part-time college professor, I’ve seen what’s coming out of high schools these days; and it ain’t necessarily good. Eliminating admissions tests only hides the problem.

Shouldn’t George Washington University change its name? George Washington owned slaves.

In New Orleans a number of years ago, the school board deleted the name of George Washington school. They renamed it after some obscure African king. No word on whether this renamed school helped the self esteem or the achievement of the almost all black student body at that school.

"Dean of Admissions Karen Stroud Felton said in a statement Monday that university administrators were concerned that below-average test scores were leading some otherwise strong black and Hispanic students to not apply.

well, this is the same “Christian” university that both had the AntiChrist-ian Satanist IslamoNazi-in-Chief speak there, but actually covered up its Christian identification symbols (crucifixes) to please him

so now they can’t attract qualified students, so they’re waiving the qualifications

the path down to Hell is greased with unbelief

Vote-crazed Obama's obsession w/ emptying out the Third World into the US is turning US schools into refugee camps........w/ big plans to inculcate the savage illiterates w/ hate-America, anti-American ideology....IOW reliable Democrat voters.

==================================================

CASE IN POINT A primetime network news segment focused on an "impoverished" latino mother who paid big bucks to get her/ son coached to take the College Boards---but he was so stupid, he still couldn't pass them. So the C/B decided to "change" them so that Pedro could pass using subversive Third World hate-filled US history.

THIRD WORLD INFILTRATION College Board exams changed history answers... revisionist historians developed different answers to the question of what America’s story is about. From their perspective, at the heart of our country’s history—like the history of any other powerful nation—lies the pursuit of empire, of dominion over others. At its core, say the revisionists, America’s history is about our capacity for self-delusion, our endless attempts to justify raw power grabs with pretty fairy-tales about democracy. ....

NOTE WELL: This terrifying Third World revisionism is straight out of Third World textbooks---emphasizing the T/W effort to undermine US ntl security for the coming armed takeover.

The conniving T/W uses an ancient formula going back to Greco-Roman times---where savages, barbarians and thieves overrun a bountiful country lusting after its power and riches.

REFERENCE Some 10 years back, Texas schools started used Mexican textbooks for their backward illiterate Spanish-speaking students. Textbooks advocated the Mexican perspective including:

<><> anti-white, anti-capitalist anti-USA viewpoints;

<><> Mexican textbooks falsified US history,

<><> proselytized blood-thirsty La Raza savagery;

<><> using teaching as brainwashing;

<><> inculcating violent separatist, latino supremacy ideology.

Subversive Texas Textbooks---distributed nationwide--- vilify conservative groups
Breitbart Texas | 09/10/2014 | Merrill Hope / FR Posted by Rusty0604

In 2006, uber-liberal "Texas Rising" stated its mission: "developing an emerging generation of social justice-minded, informed and engaged leaders is essential to the long-term health of our communities and the development of progressive public policy in Texas."

...a sneak peak at the preliminary Social Studies textbook findings TTT has found including distortions, omissions and half- truths all passing for accurate high school history..."The radical right consists of groups that sometimes gather under the flag of militant anticommunism."

"Often known as reactionaries, they denounce most forms of government regulation, including progressive taxation and restrictions and industry. Strangely enough, these radicals would not hesitate to use the government's police power to enforce the changes they desire. Examples of political groups on the radical right are the John Birch Society, the National States & Rights party, The Christian Crusade, and the Tea Party movement." The SAT/ACT have become jokes anyway. They’ve been dumbing down the tests and running courses to pass them.

below-average test scores were leading some otherwise strong students to not apply.

if you're failing tests on the subjects you're being taught... how can you claim to be a 'strong student'???
