Holy moly but I don’t think the pic does it justice due to camera perspective. Looks like a “wee” 10 pounder in the photo

Jordan is a nice guy.
Used to live a 1/2 mile from there until Hurricane Sandy evicted me.

When I was a kid - - almost 60 years ago - my mom bought a 20+ pounder at Point Judith, R. I. Always a woman looking for a discount, she bought it because folks thought the big ones might be tough so it was cheaper. For our family with 5 kids, it was great. For once we actually had lobster leftovers. It wasn’t tough at all!

Yikes. Makes a person not want to go in the water. What else is lurking in there?

How they know it is 95 years old? Birth certificate? Birth certificates are easy to fake. Look at Obama's.

What else lurks in the water?
How about giant clams that can weigh about 440 lbs and can be more than four feet across.

Nah, Homarus Americanus is found Eastern Canada down to maybe New Jersey.
The Japanese have a spiny lobster.
I think Claws closest looking relative would be the European lobster, a bit smaller age for age, but at least clawed.

I was thinking if it were from Fukishima, it would have really been a crawl dad.

Since I respect my Elders, they should give the Lobster to a local Aquarium and let it die of Old Age.
That Lobster is as old as my Father.
