Lots of social and mainstream media attention is paid in the media (especially in Florida) when "luminaries" like Gloria Estefan and Pit Bull....their Cuban heritage makes them experts, apparently, on social and political matters....
A few months ago, the Estefan family hosted an Obama fund raiser in their home.....and Pit Bull recently was praised in the Miami media for openly endorsing the threat on Donald Trump's life made by a Mexican drug kingpin.
So it sure is surprising that these publicity hounds...people who CLAIM to love freedom of expression and human rights have BEEN SO VERY SILENT regarding their hero Obama and his capitulation to Castro, the dictator who has enslaved their nation and denied them freedom.
A bit of “stream of consciousness” post there, but it sure does strike me as laughable that these “celebrities” don’t have the GUTS to stand up to fascism.
Why? Because they know who and what Castro stands for. Its why they NO LONGER live there.
They probably don’t want to be on Obama’s Enemies List.
What?
Gloria “Obama-whore” Estefan hasn’t announced a celebratory concert in downtown Miami to recognize normalizaton of relations with the regime that drove her family out of Cuba?
Shocking.
If Cuba had a large supply of slave labor, like the Chinese do, we’d have normalized relations decades ago.
Surprised she’s not packing even now to move back to the island paradise where everyone has free healthcare.
What’s the Cuban version of Stockholm Syndrome?

The Chinese have an embassy in Washington. Does that mean we are bowing the knee to the Chinese Communists.
But when Donald Trump speaks, they're all over it. Hypocrites and cowards.
It took me 3 reads of the headline to figure out it was a two legged dog.

With all the Cubans that left and want to go back now I am afraid that the island will capsized.
But according to click bait websites, she's a Republican. As far as I can determine, she supported Bush 41 when he ran in 1988. That's the last time I can ever find documentation that she supported a Republican candidate.
Rewind the tape when the then manager of the Miami Marlins expressed some kind of admiration or affection for Castro.
He was ostracized and gone in a New York minute.
Hypocrites. And racist to the Nth degree.
There are a myriad of differences between China and Cuba.
And yes, in some ways we ARE bowing in an economic sense to the Chi Coms.

I had thought Gloria Estefan was supposed to be Conservative or a Republican, I even thought she was for Elian Gonzalez remaining in the US some years back
