“I remember when Robert Christgau wrote, they got the wrong Beatle. Insane.”
Actually the best line I heard was that as Chapman was being led away he was heard to remark, “but everyone told me Yoko was the tall one.”

McCartney's post Beatle work was mostly crap as well. I don't know about that. I think he had a pretty successful post beatles career. You could make a pretty long list of hit songs he wrote after the beatles.

I think it’s time to put The Beatles baby to bed and give him a rest.

Ringo is the only who looks like it would be fun to hang out with. He is probably home thanking whatever God he believes in for the opportunity to ride that wave.

Actually, Paul wrote (and sang) “Helter Skelter” that inspired Charlie Manson.

The Beatles will always be a band that was greater than the sum of their parts.
Not a Lennon fan, I gotta go with Paul on this one. How do you ever compete with a martyr?
IMHO 1969-70 John cared for no one or anything and would have dragged the Beatles down into the pits of hell just because he could.
Paul was a showman and superior musician and just wanted to make music live and often.

Yoko Ono’s singing should be declared hazardous material....

Wow! Thanks for sharing that. I certainly have a better opinion of Lennon now that I have read that.

I don’t know. I’ve stepped on a cat or two in my day, which creates the same sound, and no species were driven to extinction.

No. Listen to the words of Revolution. He was anything but. He owned a very successful Dreamstreet Dairy Farm in Delaware County NY....

I'm glad the writer wrote what he did about 'Let Em In".
Wings made some really good stuff, but some exceedingly crappy stuff too.

Paul McCartney is the gay lover of Udumbo. Eff him (and I love the Beatles).

Wasnt John a Communist? What side of the aisle do we find most, if not all, mass murderers on? The Left, of course! If a person ever really took time to read the lyrics to "Imagine" yeah it sure sounded like it. That and atheist/secularist humanist and it became that movements anthem. It has to be the most overrated song ever written. It think the music distracts kinda hypnotizes listeners to where they don't understand the crappy lyrics LOL.
Ono's singing reminds me of Morticia's singing on The Addams Family if anyone remembers that.
I've seen a YOUTUBE Video of The Beatles singing "Help" soon after it's release. John suddenly jumps from the first to third verse leaving Paul and George singing the second one. Really George was The Beatles guitar sound you can tell it in his post Beatles recordings. George and Ringo were also good song writers in their own right. They co-wrote Ringo's post Beatle hit Photograph.
