Walker will not get a pass from other candidates on the jobs and economic issues in Wisconsin.

From the article:

Republican presidential contender Donald Trump on Wednesday criticized Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s handling of his state’s finances in an interview with Bloomberg Politics.

“He has got a lot of problems in Wisconsin. You know, Wisconsin has got tremendous problems,” he said.

“The debt and the difficult problems that they have going on in Wisconsin that a lot of people don't understand and know about. Tremendous borrowings. And they have difficulties,” he added.

Get back to me when Trump fixes the spending and budget problems of the state of NY, or NYC.

The GOPe’s don’t need any help damaging their chances.

Does John McCain and Mitt Romney ring a bell?

I should have said that Walker would be great at maintaining the GOPe control. Any COC candidate is an enemy of America’s foundling principles.

I don’t like unions and the only problem I have with what Walker did was that he only targeted the unions that did not support his election. This has been covered at Red State and elsewhere.

The other big problem I have with Walker is the WEDC. It smacks of cronyism. Political donors were paid big bucks to create jobs that never materialized. In fact many of those companies shipped thousands of jobs overseas.

These are the kinds of things that may be a problem for Walker in the campaign.

So all GOP candidates equate to McCain and Romney?

Indeed. I don’t know why people just pretend that isn’t a huge issue when it’s the COC that is behind the GOP immigration for illegals push. All Walkers union busting won’t matter much when the DNC retakes the house and senate and the remanants of the GOP join them in a veto.

Which is far from a given because I am sure his COC ties come with plenty of string. Rememer Mitt? “Romneycare is good for Mass but not for America.”

I can that that repeating easily.

Calling into account another candidate’s record is what any candidate is going to do. Personal attacks are another matter, but that is not what Trump did.

I thought Wisconsin was the new standard for conservative governance.

Is Trump blowing smoke here? Is he missing the chance to extol the virtues of good governance and contrasting that with the likes of NY, IL and CA?

The GOPe’s nominated two losers, McCain and Romney.

3, if you count Bob Dole.

The GOP has proven to be quite good at picking losers without the
help from anyone, including Trump.

The unemployment rate is O.K. Minnesota’s and North Dakota’s are better. The labor participation when Walker took office was 69%. It is slightly lower now at 68%.

The budget surplus will be challenged. The only way to arrive at that ESTIMATE is to ignore the structural deficit, an accounting tactic that has been discredited by Forbes and Bloomberg. We’ll see how it plays out as the campaign continues.

“Get back to me when Trump fixes the spending and budget problems of the state of NY, or NYC.”

In case you haven’t noticed, Trump does not hold elective office in NY. He can’t fix anything; it’s up to DeBlasio and Cuomo, how’s that for a deadly duo. Although The Donald has probably done more for NY with his construction projects by generating jobs than either of these two bozos ever have.

Walker’s plan is likely to grow Wisconsin’s economy to get out from any budget shortfall or debt owed. This does work.

I’m with Trump. I have never trusted Walker. Why is the guy who has been leading the polls for 6 mos unwilling to announce his candidacy? My theory is that there is another shoe going to drop on Walker over the ethics investigation into WEDC and his campaign.

I hope we’re not going to talk about how great a communicator Trump is LOL!

“He’s got a lot of problems in Wisconsin. You know, Wisconsin. Did I say Wisconsin? And he’s got tremendous problems. And besides that he’s got some big difficulties. And borrowings and they have difficulties. And besides that he’s got some problems. The debt and stuff, and like a lot people don’t know about and understand. Did I mention he’s got lots of problems?”

Possibly. My guess is that they want him on hold for when Jeb implodes by design late in the campaign. then they can bring Walker out fresh and ‘clean’ and say “It’s too late! we gotta all get behind him no matter what!! Hurry! don’t think just do it!!!!!”

Well tell me who isn’t. Pataki? Kaisch? Huck? Perry?

The problem that Walker has is that Wisconsin’s economy is growing at about half the rate as the national economy, which has not been where it should be either.

Wisconsin is losing the middle class faster than any other state. Also, in May Wisconsin lost more jobs than any other state.
