Only one, claims that the person displaying it was being ‘aggressive’ and ‘confrontational’.

And why aren't the Civil War battlefields being closed to the public ? Will the Civil War even be in textbooks ten years from now? I'm about to have a Howard Beale moment! photo Howard Beale Network.png

Battle fields make me sad, any battlefields. My husband was stationed at the Coast Guard facility in Yorktown Virginia, I drove across the Yorktown battlefield often but I never forgot the deaths that occurred there. Custers Last Stand battlefield made me cry.

You probably know that the British flag is very much like the Confederate flag. I have a hoodie with the Brit flag on it, I got a dirty look last time I wore it! I didn't care!

Reply to me from Dixie Gun Works:

Dear Sir:

We are very sorry but we are out of stock on the Confederate Flags. We are not accepting any back orders at this time. You might try checking back with us in 8 to 10 weeks for availability. We have contacted our supplier but at this time do not know when or if they will again be available.

Thank you,

Dixie Gun Works Inc.

What idiots we have in this country - the Union Jack is pretty clear. I’m thinking of hanging my flag in the window.

I love battlefields. Just visited Antietam for the first time and was overwhelmed. Such a beautiful location for such a horrible event.

I don’t know where this is all going to end...

Transfer of guilt I see. The person is just displaying until confronted by some wackos aggressiveness , he responds and they call him aggressive? unbelievable.

Best to display and behave as the Queens Guards......

The game wardens here in NE Mississippi said we can fly the Confederate Battle Flag but must stay at least 100 yards away from it with our rifles. Hunting over baited land is a misdemeanor.

Research local civil war museums in your area. They still sell the flags.

I noticed United Daughters of the Confederacy has added a shopping section on their website, though nothing is up there yet.

Try Gadsden and Culpeper American Heritage Shoppe

They sell the Confederate flags. Not sure about the t-shirts.

If you are Southern like say me you have had a confederate battle flag your whole life. Now this weekend you will be getting it out and flying it proudly for your July 4th cookout.

I just bought 2 new 4 ft x 6 ft cloth sewn Confederate naval jack flags today. I hope to proudly display one on each holiday and drive my California neighbors nuts. Knowing the small conservative town that I live in, I may actually end up getting thumbs up.

10 years ago when I live in San Francisco, I would have either gotten death threats or just had my house torched.

Either way, the coordinated assault on Southern history by ostracizing the confederate flag has forced me to buy two of them. I have never owned one before.

When my neighbors ask how and why I would fly an offensive flag like that, I will tell them the truth. I never had any inclination to do so and the ONLY reason for doing so now is because they are trying to rob me of the freedom of doing so and I will not cow tow to losing my freedom! Damn it!

What a coincidence. That is where I just order my 2 flags.

Maybe not a coincidence as I had a hell of a time finding a website that offered them that was not sold out. Most flag websites seem to have pulled their sales of the rebel battle flag, even while they go on offering the various stars and bars.

Other websites that still offer them are sold out. There must be a hell of a run on confederate flags. Can’t wait to get my two.
