A month after canceling her wedding, Bristol Palin has announced that she's pregnant.
"I wanted you guys to be the first to know that I am pregnant," she wrote in a blog post on the religious website Patheos. "Honestly, I've been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one."
She continued, "I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you. But please respect [my 6-year-old son] Tripp's and my privacy during this time. I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy."

Unless she was deliberately trying for yet another fatherless child, she is beyond stupid, or just lazy.
So much for Bristol’s faux career as an abstinence spokeswoman. No wonder this country is going to hell in a hand basket when the very public scion of a prominent so conservative politician brings 2 illegitimate kids into the world.
Well, I’ve been hooked up to her on FB believing all her abstinence stuff. So I’m more than a little disappointed. As Oscar Wilde said, the first time is an accident, the second time looks like carelessness.

Maybe not. Maybe that is why they called off the wedding.
FR wastes no time in pointing out the baby mama scenario amongst blacks ... and I don't recall anyone calling that gossip. In fact, it's often done with quite a righteous tone.
Bristol has put herself out there as pro-abstinence when she, clearly, is not. She's a fake and deserves whatever criticism she gets.
She is no different from the millions of high school girls that look at sex as a recreational activity and apparently do not have any sense of self respect, ending up pregnant and I presume ignorant of how pregnancies occur. Something any high schooler should know. Oh I forgot, they must not teach how it happens but teach them how to put on a prophylactic.
Now, my mom, God bless her soul, would say Bristol is just like the neighbors dog every time she comes into heat, just can’t say no.
It has got to be sooooo disappointing to Sarah and hubby.
Wasn’t she making money preaching to everyone about ABSTINANCE???

Abstinence, Hell. All it takes is a small drop of personal responsibility, minimal concern for the rest of her family, and some cheap birth control pills. She’s an irresponsible, unfeeling, round heeled little tramp.
Maybe that Marine dumped her.
Whoever was paying for her to be an “abstinence spokesperson” should ask for their money back.
Our friends’ daughter made similar bad decisions. A baby at 18 then another by a different guy several years later. Tough on the family, but she married the second guy and she is now an amazing wife and homeschooling mother.
We all have sinful natures, just struggle in different areas. Abortion had allowed many to hide the their sin by murdering the baby. Promiscuity wasn’t my biggest struggle (though not giving in to temptation was a battle and it is only by the grace of God that I didn’t).Envy, lust, lying and a haughty spirit, however, are things I still struggle with almost daily.
Right now she is probably a broken woman and I hope her pain turns her to the Lord. I feel only sadness for her parents and hope their family stays committed to each other.
With all the proven effective methods of birth control and she gets knocked-up AGAIN.She’s stuck on stupid.

I really don’t think that moral decisions of an adult child necessarily finish off the parents. Adult kids make mistakes.
