Searching both Confederate Battle Flag and Confederate Flag returned lots of results in Google Shopping for me.
I realize that. The point is that Google blocked all its affiliates who sell the Confederate flag.
Pretty soon, you’ll start seeing shady-looking guys with Trench Coats and weatherbeaten John Deere baseball caps.

Yes, Google is a private entity and has every right to block whatever they want. EBay and Amazon are doing the same thing, but at least they announced their intentions first. Google just flipped the switch without telling anybody. Cowards.

This means that there is an office at Google that is tasked with building a database of searches that are blocked, redirected, or changed in some way.
You think that’s bad - I did several searches to verify a bunch of claims about the klan - now I must be on a dozen new lists!
Correction: Google made a public announcement 17 hours ago that they would be blocking “Confederate Flag” shopping searches.
I’m sure they will be banning the hammer and sickle flags too.

Ebay officially banned Nazi items a long time ago.

I remember when they implemented it. It might've been a decade or so ago. There was a fair amount of butthurt. Prior to that, eBay sold a lot of Nazi stuff, original and reproduction.
Confederate battle flag still works. :)
