Curious if there is a place where someone actually defined the “e” some years ago. I had long taken it as meaning something like “lite”. Effete? Effeminate (though it does not apply to Sarah Palin)?

I always used it to mean establishment, but the other two work as well.

GOPe stands for anyone who disagrees with your own personal ideology.

You nailed it, but I would add: a vile, hated group, who are far worse than any Democrat, so it's better to not vote for anything they support, and let the Democrats win.
GOPe is a nicer way to say Rino; or is it the other way around, either way they are the supporters of the current one party establishment elitists, they are what you might call a more passionate kinder gentler communist.
The main philosophy of the GOPe/Rino/Communist/Facist/Marxist/Stalinist big tent(room for everybody) party is “don’t fight... unite”, “if you can’t beat em join em”!
