I'm always looking for pleasant, un-interfering background/research music

If I can be forgiven for promoting my own music, this is my instrumental jazz version of “All Along the Watchtower.”

I usually have talk radio in the background but Spyro Gyra works for heavy research times and when cleaning the house:)

I think Russ Freeman and The Rippingtons is just a little better for concentration than either Spyrogyra or The Yellowjackets, but all are good.

Thanks for the Paul Collier recommendation, I’m listening to him now.

If you like music like Paul Collier, you might also like Steven Halpern’s album Crystal Bowl Healing. He also has some of those “alpha wave” recordings, but I don’t think they’re as good as Crystal Bowl Healing.

I listen to it on Rhapsody, but it is widely available elsewhere.

Also thanks for this thread. I will keep coming back to it.

Excellent, thank you, reminds me of the Jones College music we hear on FM when traveling in FL. And then, head slap, I went to IHeart, which normally drives me nuts, and there it was.

WOW!!!

Here's one of my dear favorites... So chivalrous and romantic; long ago, when we women were put on a pedestal...

For My Lady (Live)
