Prior to the Apple Watchs launch, many were already predicting that the device would be the answer to wearables and be the device that would change the landscape of the wearables industry. Initial reviews are a bit mixed but it is Apples first-gen smartwatch so there are bound to be some areas that could be improved upon.
However if the figures provided by analysts are accurate, it seems that there are many who are interested in the device regardless of the reviews. According to the latest numbers from Global Equities Research, they have estimated that Apple has received 7 million Apple Watch orders to date, and have shipped a grand total of 2.5 million units.
They also expect that Apple will be able to deliver 5 million Apple Watches by the end of the quarter which is twice as much as analysts had previously expected. Their numbers are based on tracking methods used by app developers. So far Apple has kept mum on the sales figures of the Apple Watch, with Tim Cook only stating that the device is doing well.

I wonder how much of Apple's internal accounting and published figures are completely made-up. It's not like any third party can verify what really goes on in that huge tar pit of financial scams a.k.a China.
apple has $137 billion in cash and marketable securities....
MORE THAN THE USSA GOVERNMENT which has $20 TRILLION IN DEBT
the commie muzzie traitor in chief could take a big lesson from this SUPREME CAPITALIST COMPANY
apple bashers equating apple to obama are way off the mark...
apple offers jobs AND A PRODUCT no one is forced to buy as opposed to obamacaer being shoved up eveyone’s ass.... obama offers hot air emanating from top and bottom of his crack riddled empty suit..simultaneously hahahahaha
The Apple watch is the boombox or 8 track of tomorrow.
That makes its products in COMMUNIST china.
Ahh, you’re not a groupie. You’re a consumer. If a better watch or phone or some other mousetrap comes along I’m sure you’d switch brands in a heartbeat. Right?
Pray tell. What’s wrong with “bashing” a homo-loving, homo-led, nanny product-making, trendy hipster company who’s ingenuity boat set sail into the sunset right after the untimely death of their weirdy-weirdy, charity-loathing, pompous tyrannical leader 4 years ago?
Or people paying $1000 for a cell phone you toss out in 2 years? $800 for a watch you’ll stop using in a couple of months? $1000 for an iPad you’ll pitch in 2 years?
Not sure why anyone would consider this anything other than a groupie cult by any stretch of the imagination.
Lies.
This analyst from KGI has skin in the supplier game and has been accurate for years:

He says demand is down and they’re dropping projected sales like a rock. Sounds like some “ObamaCare” number fudging going on.
Assuming they realistically only sell 10 million units at an average profit of $200 a unit, they’re only going to recover half of their $4B+ they spent developing and marketing it. Not sure what world your Apple groupies are living in, but in the NASDAQ world that’s what we call an epic launch failure.

Actually I doubt it.
I’m heavily invested Microsoft and will certainly take the Windows 10 deal. Likewise with my iPad and iPhone. Even if Android or Microsoft had a better gadget my investment in the Apple hardware and software would likely keep me on the straight and narrow.
And, as previously noted I can’t see me with an iWatch of any type. But I suppose that could change when someone manages to integrate a 5 ft. 16K Holographic Projector and a TeleTransporter.
I believe that you are mistaken. Apple employs a whole heard of attorneys that would normally be chasing ambulances, suing drug companies or helping illegal aliens stay on our streets. Instead these lawyers are spending their time gooping up our patent system and suing Apple's competitors for billions of dollars for making rectangular devices with rounded corners. Some of those lawyers probably are paying taxes although being lawyers... probably not much.
Maybe.
Then again, maybe not
Oh, I know I was just trying to be funny. The largest corporation in the world is doing everything it can to avoid paying its taxes.
