It was in the development mill here for a time. But dammit, Kurt Russell was excellent even though it was a hokey movie. Damn, I;m tired of the Rock. Same old face..
Kim cattrall was hot in it. Stupid Kurt leaving her in the end. What is this macho crap? Dude, it’s Kim C back in the 80’s. Every guy back then didn;t go a day not drooling about her since Porky’s..
OMG... I didn’t even know that they were remaking Ben Hur.
Hollyweird needs to quit while it’s behind. This is just pitiful ;/
The Rock is too one-dimensional for the role.
Johnson lacks both the charm and the humor that Russell and the rest of the original cast brought to the film. I wish the CGI boosting and talentless hacks of today's Hollywood the best of luck in their feeble attempts to somehow improve on an already perfect film. Especially the sword fight sequences at the end, and the Egg-Shan vs. Lo Pan rivalry.
"Big Trouble In Little China" is one of those few rare films where you can tell the cast had a lot of fun putting it all together.
Any remake of BTILC will probably be as lame as the awful "Dukes of Hazzard" film.
Am I a little biased towards John Carpenter? Mmmm...........maybe so.
That would be frightening.
Used Cars is a classic. Same with Big Trouble. I have the double CD soundtrack.
“Used Cars” is an absolute riot and easily the best film Kurt Russell ever made. A waaay underrated comedy.
“That’s just too F’n high!” (blows-up a Mercedes) is one of the all time great scenes in movies.
IIRC, Robert Zemekis directed and “Used Cars” is much better than his “Back to the Future” films.
what??? why mess with perfection?
Thanks for the tip.
Indeed...but as an artist myself, I have to say that sometimes the risk is worth it.
Well...a man can’t change his face too much (unless he’s Bruce Jenner), but you are right. There is such a thing as “overexposure”.
Lol! Good advice.
The Angels have designated outfielder Gary Brown for assignment.
“Kurt Russell cannot be topped.”
Ain’t that the truth.
