Animal rights activists are blasting a top-ranked Oklahoma charter school after its students were seen on video using dead cats to act out dance moves, set to the jingle used in commercials for Meow Mix cat food.

It might be tasteless to use dead animals for this sort of thing, but they are dead. People need to get a life.

They were merely demonstrating the “dead cat bounce” that Hillary will receive when she returns to the campaign trail. LOL!!
And these are not random dead cats decaying from street pick-ups. It is a science class, playing with the bodies they are about to dissect.

Most of the HuffPo commentators have the vapors about this. I admit, it’s juvenile, but the students ARE juveniles.
Nobody ever complained when I had my baby shark talk or my fetal pig smoke a cigarette or even when I sat my frog down on my notebook with his legs and arms crossed.
Did they look like bred lab cats?
PETA goes way beyond the typical local humane society, or ASPCA. They want to forbid human “exploitation” of animals for any reason. For that reason they’d rather see a pet dead than rehomed. But then use that dead pet in a movie and they get different vapors... honestly, this is a grudge based philosophy.

“Each year, approximately 2.7 million animals are euthanized (1.2 million dogs and 1.4 million cats).”
“Of the cats entering shelters, approximately 37% are adopted, 41% are euthanized, and less than 5% of cats who came in as strays are returned to their owners.”
Some of those make their way to anatomy labs.
