Hey, how is Five Guys Burgers? One JUST opened here and I have yet to try it.
5 guys is awesome. Pricy, but worth every penny.

I ate there a few times with a friend, who just loved it. Big orders of fries, above average burgers, prices pretty high. Overall pretty good, not fantastic.
A smaller chain came along called The Habit, and both my wife and I love it.
About 125 so far, mainly California but also in Arizona, Utah, New Jersey and Nevada so far. Like surprisingly several food joints, it started in the incubator of Santa Barbara in 1969.
My wife put me onto Five Guys. I’m naturally skeptical of overpraise, but she was right...they are great. And they give you more fries (great tasting as well) that you can handle. Worth the the extra money.
I like Five Guys.
They don't cook or assemble your burger until you order it. Then you sit down for a few minutes until it's ready. Near the tables is a big sack of free in the shell peanuts to keep you alive until they call your number.
Also, low overhead (mucho bags of potatoes around the edges of the room). Order the small fries first time.
No drive through, a bit pricey, but worth it, IMO.
They’re good.
The Five Guys near my home is cooking the best burgers I've ever had.
They're doing it right. A simple menu; hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, single or double made from hand rolled patties and cooked quickly on a super hot grill, leaving them nice and juicy. Assorted fresh toppings to choose from. Great fries, more than you can eat, Cajun or normal seasoning. I think they offer hotdogs for the kids. Fountain drinks. And that's it.
The only thing they're missing are milk shakes.
Five Guys is where I go when I am craving a bacon double cheeseburger. Nobody is making them better.
Also, they've never screwed up my order. Lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, mustard, mayo. They've never gotten it wrong.
Don’t go there....
it’s more addictive than crack.
