I still like my McDonald's coffee and a Egg McMuffin. I also used to love there Quarter Pounders with cheese but now they just taste like salty grease.

High rent kills most places.
McDonalds has mostly busy restaurants.
Maybe the cost of business law compliance and out of control customers seeking chicken McNuggets are the problem.

Oh, dear. I only go to McDonald’s about twice a year, when I’m driving to Maine and back again, but I’ll miss it if this jerk screws it up. Already bad enough that Michelle reduced the size of my French Fries, and I had to go from small to medium. Thanks, Michelle.

The fries are the only thing I will eat there. I think they probably have raised the prices too high for poor quality food. It was always kind of crappy but it was cheap. When I was in college I could get a big Mac for about 79 cents. They tasted crummy but they filled you up. :-)

I thought they already were a “modern progressive burger company”. They’ve been bending over and caving to liberals for at least a decade now.
When they rebuilt my local McD the McDonaldland Playland was eliminated. And the décor leaves no clue that hamburgers are even on the menu. You’d think it was some sort of organic farmers market that served gourmet coffees.

700 is a big number, I’d like to see what stores they are going to close.
I don’t mind them from time to time honestly and in the past, I’ve avoided going in precisely because it often is too busy.

McDonald’s was great. Americana. Then the corporation started catering to THUGS. Became Mickey D’s. Profits may have risen but at the expense of bringing white and black THUGS into the ‘burbs.
Not all but many are now just thug hangouts.
Yeah, I’m gonna go there, especially with my family.
Not shedding any tears.
