I’m not sugarcoating anything. I’m saying quite correctly that the Xhosas in Transkei had more rights and a better country than Kenyans living in Kibera. But Transkei was never recognized as a country by the UN and most of the world due to an insane prejudice against Whites in South Africa.

Today, boys are still surfing in Durban’s Bay of Plenty but the crime rate makes life on land much tougher for all the races of Natal.

Which still doesn’t excuse apartheid. Saying they had it better than someone else is essentially meaningless. There’s always someone who has it better or worse if you look hard enough.
