Apartheid was never the horrible system it was depi9cted. South Africa was the most advanced African country. All economic classes benefited when the country had those bad bad ole White people making decisions.

Yes, it was. Massive, systematic, and completely irrational oppression of indigenous peoples who were not treated as citizens of their own country. Don’t sugarcoat it. Also, let’s not pretend that it made the country unlivable. It didn’t. We have to be honest on all sides.
