A Colorado man who has been “fighting with his computer for the last several months” unloaded a volley of shots into his Dell tormentor, resulting in the death of the computer and his arrest for discharging a firearm, cops report.

When asked about the shooting, Hinch told TSG, “I just had it,” adding that he tired of the balky computer’s “blue screen of death.” Hinch said that he whacked the computer with a 9mm Hi-Point pistol recently purchased from a Craigslist seller. The gun was seized by police, who left the computer behind.

The late Dell XPS 410 model, seen in the above police evidence photo, is survived by a monitor and a keyboard.

I was just thinking if Judge Bork were still alive a perfect sequel to his book could be called “Slouching towards Idiocracy”. (talk about prophetic movies)

Every day I think the world can’t get “any more stupider”.

I would reserve that for HP PC’s, laptops, and above all printers. Not just HP printers but ALL printers. Printers are evil incarnate.

Only use a laser printer. It doesn't have to be expensive.

Deskjets (or as I call them, desksh*ts) are designed to vex you, and waste your time.

When your laser printer starts whining about toner, pull the cartridge out, and shake-shake-shake-a-puddin'. Then put it back in.

You'll get plenty of pages. Use the cartridge till you KNOW it hasn't got any toner left in it.

Oh, another tip - ALWAYS do a page print range on a print job. I like to use the preview, too.

Shooting’s too good for a Dell.

I know, right? I got so tired of hearing her whiny torch songs, but the stations just kept playing them into the ground.

They relieved the VP who was responsible for Win 8 of command.

He was married to the Charms, and the Tiles interface.

I had a Dell and liked it. But it gave up the ghost in 2012.

My wife has gone through several mice. I'd hear her slam the things on her pad when "it wasn't responding fast enough" (yes, it was the mouse's fault). I learned my lesson and now buy her mice from the Five Below store.

In the mid-nineties we finally retired an IBM Series/1 that had been used as a minicomputer for various tasks around the shop, including three data entry shifts. Everybody hated it. [Programmers more than anyone.]

We had a picnic and sold sledge-hammer blows at it for $5 a pop. The data entry gals loved it and we cleared $1000 for the coffee fund.

I know the feeling well. I used a sledge hammer on one of mine. Now in the case of my ex wife, if I’d shot her when I first wanted to, I’d have been out by now.

Get an Okidata printer..... still a work horse and a ScanSnap from Fujitsu

Tech support is friendly and helpful for both devices.

I have a Dell now(Had this one for the last two years) had to buy the extended warranty for it otherwise if you have an issue Dell won’t even bother talking to you) its been alright. Had more issues with Windows 8 than anything else. A while back my computer would reboot after I turned it off for no reason, couldn’t be explained..than someone from Dell finally after 20 phone calls figured it out. There was a windows 8 update that was causing a conflict with the bluetooth that came with the PC even though I never used bluetooth..so once I rolled back that update the issue went away
