Southwest gave Lenny free gin-and-tonics for his troubles. Well stab me with a pen and bring another round!

I’m curious whether the term fro this is “stabbed” or just “poked”. Some reports in the media are overstated.

OK, I'm confused. Another version of this story says the woman "poked" the snorer with her pen, not "stabbed". WTH, did she draw blood?
And who writes this stuff? The flight was "stalled"? What, did the pilot let the clutch out too fast? Delayed, diverted, not "stalled".

The snoring passenger who suffered the hard poke, named Lenny...Not Lenny!

I was on a flight a few weeks ago, where a guy was snoring so loud that every around him was laughing. He was completely oblivious until we landed and he woke up.
As we were waiting to exit the plane, the woman sitting immediately in front of him turned around and told him: "You need to see a doctor!". He just smiled sheepishly, and she kept dishing it out. That had everyone laughing or cringing, but she wouldn't let up.

The plane landed at Manchester, NH. The guy was interviewed by FoxNews25 Boston and seemed to be in a good humor (all those gin and tonics) and was not going to press charges. His sleeve was only “bloodied” with blue ink, in about three places. He may have leaned over into her “space”, still her reaction was uncalled for.

I'm curious as to the "woman". Overworked mother? "Transgender"? Hillary supporter? Professor of Peace & Conflict Resolution? Illegal alien? Teacher?
In the book, "Silence of the Lambs", Lechter's listening to a patient with the same-old same-old "issues" for the umpteenth time, gets fed up, and plunges his pen into the chest of the patient, silencing the whining - forever.

'Lenny' is Chuck McGill now in the TV series 'Better Call Saul'

Hey, in our “outrage is OK” culture, you are allowed to react violently to anything you don’t like or that offends you. Someone is snoring? Stab or poke them with a pen. Someone says they are against gay marriage? Threaten to kill their family. Someone shoots a black kid? Riot and vandalize and loot neighborhood shops. Its all good.
