A really good video, well conceived, brilliantly acted by stars worth watching.
AndyCat, however, says HISSSSS. He prefers to be groomed with a fine-tooth comb. He thinks I should do the carpet with it too.

Misty loves to be combed. Deimos thinks that that’s what Ceiling Cat gave kitties tongues for. Zia attempted to murder me when asked for comment.

Outstanding kitteh stuff!
How does one convince kitteh to stand there and get excess hair vacuumed away?

My cat Sarah was fearless. hailstorms, thunder, loud noises like fireworks didn’t phase her. She sat in the window durning a hailstorm that dropped quarter sized hail. She didn’t budge.
I had to put her down a few weeks ago. she is missed dearly. she was a awesome cat and a buddy.

If I take out the vacuum, it's like "who can be first to the nuclear bomb shelter" for my Maine Coon. She scrambles for cover like a banshee from hell itself is pursuing her. My little rescue DSH is somewhat calmer. If she is "stranded" atop the cat condo or another fairly high place, she lets me vacuum and is too scared to seek a more secluded space. But, she doesn't seem crazed, just slightly wary. The Coon, however, scrambles to the nearest hiding place she can manage, even if she knocks me over.
I just had a cleaning crew over last week to help me clean for Passover. I WARNED them about a "large furry cat who might burst from a hiding place". Still, they were scared out of their minds when a very large furry rocket DID burst from one hiding place when they started up the vacuum (behind the bed's headboard) and leaped into another hiding place (behind the printer). It's a toss-up as to who was more scared: the Coon from the vacuum or the cleaning crew from the furry rocket.
