“The Volusia County Sheriffs Department website indicates this was Cobbs seventh arrest in just over three years. Jarrells online record shows 12 arrests during roughly the same period. “
Reminds me of Shawshank where Andy tells Tommy to find a new career, because he’s not very good a burglary.

This couple may have never hurt a flea.
But I for one think these types of arrest records (assuming 70% convictions) are proven cases of career criminals/ astoundingly slow learners who leave a trail of damage in their wake such that they have forfeited their rights to freedom. Permanently.
These folks should not be walking the streets.

Gulla pointed out that an arrest is a better fate than the alternative they could have met upon breaking into her home and assaulting her. When one gets arrested 12 times in 3 years, it's probably something they've grown pretty used to.

This article is full of win.
My favorite part:
“Police threatened even more physical injury should he refuse to surrender.
“You can come out of the closet or you can be bit by my dog,” one officer reportedly told him.”
I bet by that point the police puppy was reared up like like a bucking horse and ready to par-tay.
