Underwater duck hunting?

Believe I have seen a video of a fish jumping out of the water to snag a flying bird, so it has been done.

They didn’t try potato salad?!
I remember seeing a video of a native American shooting salmon as they swam up a waterfall with a handmade bow. Beautiful! I’m not sure why you would want to catch a carp.

As a practical matter, they’re invasive and best gotten rid of. It’s also a kick in the ass to bowhunt them. If they’re from clean water, they’re not too bad to eat.

By the time you clean the fillets from the rib bones you have enough meat for a snack but, you’re right, if you go to the trouble it is tasty.
