Russ & Daughters for “appetizers” - this is mostly fish with wonderful bagels, etc. Many of the haunts I used to hit in college are long gone from the area. The 2nd Avenue deli is famous for its chopped liver!

new diner. Remedy. On Houston one block east of Katz’s. Play oldies. good sized portions. Go there weekly for breakfast with my daughter before we go visit my dad. French toast on Challa bread but really soft. not the chewy stuff. This melts in your mouth.

As soon as DiBlasio is out of office, I need to visit NYC for food tour. (Will not drop a single penny there ‘til he’s gone.)

I heard about Sammy’s Rumanian many years ago; food critic on the radio, I think. My mouth’s been watering every since.

Hmmm... lunch at Katz’s / Carnegie, dinner at Sammy’s.

The day after will be spent on the couch recovering.

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
