Mmmmmmmm. Pastrami. Corned beef. Bagels. I'm still at work. You are a cruel man.

i’ve been going my entire life. My dad still lives 3 blocks away in the same apartment i grew up in and i’m 60 now (he’s 93). Now my kids make the trip now and again as well. My daughter brought home a pastrami sandwich 2 weeks ago. We went there for breakfast in December before going to see my dad.
And yes the neighborhood sure has changed for the better. No more getting out of Dodge when the sun goes down.

Katz deli has the best deli food in all of NYC. Best I’ve ever tasted.
Carnegie deli is number two. The third would be the old Wolfies in Miami.
I wish that picture had Jetsons technology.,I could grab it and eat it now, with a glass of Dr. Browns.

Everybody talks about Katz’s but no one knows the great Sammy Rumanian's Steakhouse in the same neighborhood - unbelievable steaks, dollar coin potatoes, schmaltz on the table and a Klezmer band. Pure heaven.

I see a road trip in my future once the snow melts.
Thank you for the tip.
