“possession of a child without a seat belt.”
Huh?
I was with a friend of mine, a Singaporean lady, coming back from the Long Bar (Raffles Hotel) one midnight about twenty some-odd years ago, half a world away, when “Old Cape Cod” came on the radio.
As someone who can remember riding in the car, straining for the first sight of the Bourne Bridge, as a little kid, I turned it up.
She thought I was horribly square.
I didn’t care.
I’ve seen a lot of those dangerous suv Amish buggies here in Indiana...I don’t understand why more kids don’t fall out of them....they have those side curtain thingies and they just sort of fold up....dangerous!!!!
Old Cape Cod is a very charming, alluring song that takes you in if you let it. Patti had the perfect voice for it, natural and unforced. Other similar gems are Tennessee Waltz or Sentimental Journey, sung or instrumental. For those sensitive to gentle harmonies, lilting phrases, or cascading walls of sound, all wrapped up in nostalgia, some kinds of music can be as strong as taking a drink or two. At least for me.
See its good to clean to gean pool
We bought a 55” Samsung recently after getting (and returning) a couple of bad Visios. I was WAY tired of loading and unloading those huge boxes in the back of our Explorer. Just one would’ve been a chore.
These folks were obviously overshooting their capabilities.
These people are all white.
