MSNBC’s Chris Matthews saw a nefarious aim behind Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before a joint session of Congress on Tuesday, claiming his discussion on the Iranian nuclear talks represented nothing less than a “takeover attempt” by a foreign leader. “Let me get to the heart of this now,” he told host Thomas Roberts. “This man, from a foreign government, walked into the United States legislative chamber and tried to take over U.S. foreign policy.” “Mm-hmm,” Roberts said approvingly. “He said, ‘You should trust me, not your president, on this,’” Matthews continued. “‘I am the man you should trust, I am your true leader on this question of geopolitics.’” “It was a startling situation, to allow someone to come in knowing that was going to be their message,” the MSNBC host continued, blaming Republicans and Israeli leadership of conspiring. “Think it through — what country in the world would let a foreign leader come in and attempt to wrest from the president control of U.S. foreign policy?” he said, accusing Netanyahu of trying to “take power away from the president.” “This was a takeover attempt by Netanyahu, with his complying American partners, to take American foreign policy out of the hands of the president,” Matthews concluded.
It was an attempt to take over the issue of the Iran USA deal before it becomes a deal that gets everyone killed.

Not a “foreign takeover”, that was merely the picture of the Current Occupant getting schooled on what he SHOULD be saying to and for the American people.
That a person from a far land had to come here and speak simple home truths, is a commentary on just how poorly the Current Occupant understands what his duties to the country that elected him are, and a guide book (should he choose to take notes and act prudently) on finding his way back out of the fever swamp he has wandered into.
