It has been documented that Silver Sol heals leprosy.

It has been known for quite a while that armadillos carry lots of nasty diseases including leprosy.

Never touch a dead armadillo. Use a shovel and then soak the shovel in pure bleach for a day. Or toss it out.

Yuck. Shudder.

I’ll probably have nightmares tonight about your photo!

It’s good, though. Did you take it yourself?

Yep, they're all over the place. I worry a lot more about public restrooms than about possum on the half shell.
They are totally non aggressive, almost blind.

There is a white subculture that thinks eating anything but the dinner table is “keeping it real”.

Armadillos are so cute. I wouldn’t touch one, though.

More than likely, the Hanson’s disease is being brought in here by busloads of Obama’s “child immigrants”, just like enterovirus D68, measles, polio, TB......you name it. Diseases that WERE nonexistant in the US.

And the seven and eight banded ones get a pass? There's more to this story than they are letting on...........

they are cool looking creatures. I used to think they would be a cool pet to keep outside.

But they are hell on your lawn. I went out one day and looked at my meager lawn. I have about 2 acres to cut and maybe 1/3 is real nice. Anyway, I noticed all these divots all over. Looked like a guy in a helicopter used a 50cal to shoot up the yard. No idea what caused it but it was dillos. They are digging for grubs and are brutal.

Now I shoot them when I can. You are right, blind as bats and I’ve had them walk up to me when I’m quiet but any ground vibration, they are super sensitive and can feel you walking. They can be quick when they want to and when you shoot them, hit or miss they jump a few feet in the air and then take off.

Roast armadillo was common fare during Dust Bowl days.

So was raccoon & possum.

Back when people tended to come down sick with something and die.

Our ancestors ate a lot more small game than venison.

Which "subculture" are you from?
