He has no right to even mention that he is conservative in any way. It is a private function and he should be ashamed of even showing up there.
It's by invitation. Besides there will be many donors there who want to hear different positions. It gives everybody a chance to rub shoulders with the whole spectrum of candidates and donors.
If a walkout does occur, it ought to be fun to read the MSM coverage about how warmly and enthusiastically he was met at CPAC and how it’s clear that he’s way out in front for 2016 with Conservatives.
The MSM is occasionally useful as a reliable reverse-barometer.
