I never read the book. I tried out of curiosity, to see what the big deal was, and I didn’t get past the first few pages. I went with Dave Barry’s summary instead. At least he can write:
Barry: “So the plot is: They have sex, she wants to smooch, he wants to flog, theres a bunch of talking about this, they have sex again, she again wants to smooch, he again wants to flog, theres a bunch more talking about this, and so on for several hundred word-filled pages.”
More Barry: “Finally, Anastasia decides to let Christian flog her, to see what it would be like. So he takes a belt and flogs her on the butt. Then, in the dramatic climax to the story, the moment we have been building up to, Anastasia comes to a shocking, life-changing realization, which nobody could have foreseen in a million years: Getting flogged on the butt hurts. Yes! Its painful! Anastasia does not like it . . . So she breaks up with him.”
I don’t know how true that is to the book, but at least it was entertaining.

Let’s see. I am going to act out scenes from American Sniper (not). Can a good liar, I mean lawyer get me off? I mean keep me out of jail.
Love it! Never read it either, and cannot say I even tried, but we do like Dave Barry, and love his Clif Notes version ;)
Thanks FRiend :)

nice try, but Christian Grey, the character in the story, has the girl actually sign a contract... and it is not signed without negotiations... every act is agreed upon by both parties...
Name is Mohammed, huh?
Probably thought he was in Sweden raping some kaffir woman.
The same thing happened to me over Dr. Strangelove.
Yeah, I didn’t read the book, just a few reviews, and I remember one was making fun of the naive girl for just signing this contract with all this kinky stuff spelled out on it.
