Well, being a Jayhawker, Self got crunched but not sure what action will be taken.

Is there a stat for how many times the fans rush the floor after a higher ranked team is beat? Kansas has endured 3 this year, so far.

A Wildcat, here. You'll notice that Coach Weber got caught in the same crush as he was helping Coach Self. AD Currie provided some poor responses this morning but having observed him in action before, he'll respond in a good fashion. He's the kind of guy who gets problems fixed. I'm sure the Big 12 will be in touch. Exactly what will be done, I haven't heard yet. The Self situation was unfortunate and avoidable, so it shouldn't have happened.

The cheap-shot of Traylor is far more troublesome. The Riley County Police Department has posted the offender's picture and is seeking help in identifying him. Personally, I hope he gets prosecuted as a warning to others. Fans initiating physical contact with an opposing player is absolutely not to be tolerated.

Consider it a sign of respect. Frankly, I long for the day that a Wildcat MBB victory over KU is a ho-hum occurrence.

KU has had a pretty good run against KSU in basketball but KSU has owned KU in football the last 20 yrs. Maybe KU can storm the football field if KU can ever beat them in Lawrence.

The local radio people were talking about how strange it is to state that the Wildcats have a winning streak against KU in MBB. A two-game home winning streak. I have to admit that KU's dominance over K-State in MBB has been impressive (as is the string of Big 12 titles) - the winning streak that KU had in Bramlage Coliseum was obscene (from a Wildcat perspective).

I don't agree with your football desires obviously. However, I do have a wish that might be palatable to a Jayhawk. I'd like to see the KU-KSU MBB games become a rivalry that challenges North Carolina-Duke and Kentucky-Louisville for the biggest in-state rivalry. You guys have kept up your end of the bargain, we haven't but hopefully, we'll get there. As I think that last night showed, K-State can be much better than their record has shown this year and most of that talent is still young.

Please share with us the “corporate” fans that are at college basketball games. This should be a good laugh (assuming you answer)

I heard Coach Self this afternoon on the radio... he wasn’t happy about it.

There are a few teams in the Big 12 minus 2 that could make a run through the post season Big 12 tourny. TCU, Baylor, KSU, Texas, OSU. Getting hot at the right time is the key and wanting to get into the NCAA tourny by automatic bid may be the only way some of these teams will get in.

KU lived by the three a few weeks ago, now they can’t buy one in the last two games.

I meant that’s why I prefer college fans as opposed to fans at pro sporting events.
