KU has had a pretty good run against KSU in basketball but KSU has owned KU in football the last 20 yrs. Maybe KU can storm the football field if KU can ever beat them in Lawrence.

The local radio people were talking about how strange it is to state that the Wildcats have a winning streak against KU in MBB. A two-game home winning streak. I have to admit that KU's dominance over K-State in MBB has been impressive (as is the string of Big 12 titles) - the winning streak that KU had in Bramlage Coliseum was obscene (from a Wildcat perspective).

I don't agree with your football desires obviously. However, I do have a wish that might be palatable to a Jayhawk. I'd like to see the KU-KSU MBB games become a rivalry that challenges North Carolina-Duke and Kentucky-Louisville for the biggest in-state rivalry. You guys have kept up your end of the bargain, we haven't but hopefully, we'll get there. As I think that last night showed, K-State can be much better than their record has shown this year and most of that talent is still young.

There are a few teams in the Big 12 minus 2 that could make a run through the post season Big 12 tourny. TCU, Baylor, KSU, Texas, OSU. Getting hot at the right time is the key and wanting to get into the NCAA tourny by automatic bid may be the only way some of these teams will get in.

KU lived by the three a few weeks ago, now they can’t buy one in the last two games.
