I can't say I'm a fan of tattoos on anyone, although some guys can pull them off alright. I can't think of one time I ever thought a girl looked good with a tattoo.

I used to harbor a secret notion that I'd look cool with a tattoo. I usually don't even remember dreams, but once I had a vivid, lucid dream that I got a tattoo (it was Odysseus slaying a cyclops on my right upper arm). Sounds silly as heck for sure, but it cured me of my secret notion!

Is anyone else tired of seeing women who are a mess with tattoos?

Males or females who do that to themselves may have a desperate need to follow the crowd. In my Navy days I once imbibed a bit too much and nearly added a picture to the epidermis.

Only a hangover prevailed followed by a cooler head. These days I'm making a statement.

Nevertheless, I've been out of the hunt for a long time. If I ever rejoin, the lass who needs such displays would also require a personality that could overwhelm it. Who knows? Maybe I need the same.

I’ve always considered them to be primarily the domain of Navy/Marines and bikers.

The “individuality” the bearer of a tattoo had in the past is washed out by it’s becoming a fad. Ironically, not having them seems to be more a sign of not being part of the “herd” now than having them.

Agree. Natural, all the way is best and sexiest too. Even the less offensive ones, like a really attractive woman with a full color “sleeve” type tatoo - I can’t help but wonder “what’s that going to look like in 20 years?”. Won’t be pretty...
