Incredible negative be aimed at Fr by those, who probably never donate to cover their creep loading.
I’m pushing 80, and I use chrome on my Android tablet and phone to get FR. I got my tablet and phone for Christmas last year. In less than a few minutes, I had set up Chrome on both Androids to get to and return to at a touch of my stylus.
If the complainers donate to FR, just use Chrome.
If you don’t donate to FR, take the Troll road out of here w/your negative bs.

I have no trouble accessing Free Republic using my Commodore 64. I just wish it fit in my pocket a little better.

My iPad and iPhone doesn’t need a specialized app to use a website ... they have Safari which works very well for Free Republic ... :-) ...

I agree. FR is not broken. It has the very best user interface of any similar site I’ve seen. And it works just fine on Iphone.The very best. Every time I am no another discussion type forum I think why did't they just format it like FR.

I have a FR icon on my iPhone, that looks like an app. It brings the FR forum page right up.

Amen! I cannot stand most mobile sites. You are limited to the few “menu” items they use. Stinks! I always press “No, stay on full featured site”.

I have a plain, ordinary mobile phone, not a smart phone, iPhone or droid, so an app is of no interest to me. You’re a newbie, and haven’t earned the right to complain about how much money FR raises.
