Actor Samuel L. Jackson, who worked as a camera stand-in for Bill Cosby for three years in the 1980s, is the latest celebrity to weigh-in on the sexual assault scandal that continues to engulf the comedian.
The Pulp Fiction star said on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Thursday: 'I wish he would say something.'
'Popular opinion would say, ''Where there’s smoke, there’s fire'',' Jackson said, according to philly.com.
'But, I mean, I can’t make a judgment about it.
'I mean, I make my judgments because I have a daughter, I have a wife that I love.
'I have a lot of women in my life, and I know, you know, women are vulnerable to society.
'And people with power take advantage of people.'

The abuse charges against Cosby have been bubbling since 2002, however hit fever pitch in November last year when Barbara Bowman, one of Cosby's first accusers, wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post, titled 'Bill Cosby raped me. Why did it take 30 years for people to believe my story?'
...A week earlier, two more women accused Cosby of drugging them decades ago when they met him as young models, and one said he sexually assaulted her.
Linda Brown and Lise-Lotte Lublin came forward as the latest women to bring public accusations against Cosby at the Los Angeles office of attorney Gloria Allred, who acknowledged it was too late for them to sue Cosby.

I'm inclined to think that he's innocent but absolutely could be convinced otherwise.But there'd have to be a lot more than just claims...stories...put forth as evidence to convince me.

Cosby has also already settled out of court on one drugging/rape.

Of course one reason why he did so could be that he,at least,feared that the jury would believe the woman if the case ever came to trial.Or perhaps even that he knew that her claims were justified.

Women in the U.S. don’t have fractional worth in testamony. When it is 30 to 1, that is your proof. Generally, rape is only a 1 to 1 issue.
Samuel, if you’re not sure and it’s troubling you, why not seek another opinion? Why not call Bill Clinton and see what he thinks. Maybe he could shed some light on the question.

More than 30 women from around the country, ranging in ages from their 20 to their mid 70s and describing events over a 5 decade period, and one out of court settlement for it.
That is more than enough evidence for you to quit pretending that he is innocent and has never raped a woman.
You would have an easier time defending Bill Clinton for rape, and OJ Simpson for double homicide.

Numbers do mean something. If is a single incident, I will always take the side that there has to be convincing evidence.
When 30+ unrelated women from all walks of life accuse someone like him, it is more than just a dollar bill being dragged through a trailer park or gold diggers coming out of the woodwork.
