Actor Samuel L. Jackson, who worked as a camera stand-in for Bill Cosby for three years in the 1980s, is the latest celebrity to weigh-in on the sexual assault scandal that continues to engulf the comedian.
The Pulp Fiction star said on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Thursday: 'I wish he would say something.'
'Popular opinion would say, ''Where there’s smoke, there’s fire'',' Jackson said, according to philly.com.
'But, I mean, I can’t make a judgment about it.
'I mean, I make my judgments because I have a daughter, I have a wife that I love.
'I have a lot of women in my life, and I know, you know, women are vulnerable to society.
'And people with power take advantage of people.'

The number of women who have accused Cosby, 77, of sexually assaulting them is now over 30...
The abuse charges against Cosby have been bubbling since 2002, however hit fever pitch in November last year when Barbara Bowman, one of Cosby's first accusers, wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post, titled 'Bill Cosby raped me. Why did it take 30 years for people to believe my story?'
...A week earlier, two more women accused Cosby of drugging them decades ago when they met him as young models, and one said he sexually assaulted her.
Linda Brown and Lise-Lotte Lublin came forward as the latest women to bring public accusations against Cosby at the Los Angeles office of attorney Gloria Allred, who acknowledged it was too late for them to sue Cosby.

Only one of us has formed a *firm*opinion and that's you.And you did so using nothing more than a spreadsheet that a 4th grade math class could have set up.
I don't have nearly enough evidence to be convinced either way.
And as for BillyBob....given his slimey character it was easy for anyone with an IQ above 70 to at least *suspect* that at least *some* of the accusations were true.And then came the blue dress.As for OJ,there was the DNA....the cut on his hand...the *photos* of his wife with bruises and black eyes...the fake beard and $10K cash in the Bronco.
I haven't seen a blue dress yet in this case.Or DNA.Or photos.Or a fake beard. Bottom line....*you* will never believe he's innocent,no matter what.OTOH,I am open to being convinced that he's guilty.If a trial takes place I'll listen closely to both sides.*You'll* only listen to the prosecution.

Bill Clinton has far less evidence that he ever raped anyone, and look what you did, you mentioned his consensual sex with his girlfriend as "the Blue Dress".
In this case you have over 30 accusers and an out of court settlement with a victim who filed a police report of being drugged and raped, and 13 more victims willing to testify for her in 2005.
You can play games, but we both know that you will continue to defend Cosby until the cows come home.
You’re the one “playing games”. The game is “Cosby’s a rapist ‘cuz thirty women say so.” The “me too” aspect, and these women’s desperate need for notoriety seem to pass you by. Strange how they’ve just “popped up” when they can get headlines, and of course no one in Tinseltown cares about publicity !
Have you noticed how Herman Cain’s accusers seem to have faded into the woodwork now that he’s no longer a presidential contender ? That nothing has been heard from these poor, aggrieved women ?
But the accusers are WOMEN ! And women never, ever lie, do they ? Give me a break. I was born at night, but not last night.
Get some proof ! Prosecute his ass ! Convict him and put him in jail !
Until then I see it as unproven allegations by women whose motives are highly suspect.

So you totally discount rape victims as witnesses and require physical evidence?
Do you have the same level of proof for other crimes?

Nope,not totally.But unless I see/hear something more concrete than a verbal account I keep in mind the possibility that the account is,at best,at least partially inaccurate...if not actually fraudulent.
So what the magic number of women required for a purely verbal accusation to stick? 40? 50? 100? 1000?
Numbers,particularly numbers of people about whom I know *nothing*,mean nothing to me.For example....Like many and unlike a few,I believe that the Holocaust occurred.I believe it for two,and *only* two reasons...1) because people whose word I was already inclined to trust (allied soldiers among others) said it did and 2) because there are hundreds,thousands,tens of thousands of photos,films and documents proving that it did.
OTOH,with Cosby there are no photos (or any other hard evidence) and the only people making claims are people about whom I know *nothing* and as a result of *that* fact I'm absolutely not inclined to take their word as truthful *or* reliable. I'm not at all certain if these claims are truthful or false.I'm inclined to think they're false but,with something resembling hard evidence,would become inclined to believe that they *are* credible.
That’s quite the standard of proof that you have there.
I hope you never find yourself in court relying on people to believe you and your 12 neighbors, when there is no “proof” to substantiate your claims against the person who held you at gunpoint, but left no physical evidence.
