It is now pretty clearly agreed that the CO2 content [in the atmosphere] will rise 25% by 2000. This could increase the average temperature near the earths surface by 7 degrees Fahrenheit. This in turn could raise the level of the sea by 10 feet. Goodbye New York. Goodbye Washington, for that matter.- - Presidential advisor Daniel Moynihan 1969
Move Where (to escape the cold)? The Brutal Buffalo (NY) winter might be common all over the United States. Climate experts believe the next Ice Age is on its way. According to recent evidence, it could come sooner than anyone expected. - In Search of - The Coming Ice Age 1978

The idea that burning totally natural substances (gas and oil) — substances that were placed on Earth FOR THAT PURPOSE by God — can harm the planet is ridiculous on its face.

Does anyone in MI have a problem with global warming today? If yes, tell me again tomorrow morning!
Liberals don’t get embarrassed. They don’t experience that emotion.
They might experience the stress of having to think up a new lie on the fly, but they don’t feel embarrassment.
You people pointing to record cold and snow miss the point. Think how much worse it would be WITHOUT Gorebull Warming.
They might experience the stress of having to think up a new lie on the fly, but they dont feel embarrassment.
Absolutely true.

One wonders if they have the sense to look up in the sky and see that ball of fire up there and consider it may just have some affect on the climate of the planet.
No sense of geologic history as from their perspective everything they observed in their 40-50 years of existance is all they need to know. Worse, when the numbers don’t coincide with their recollection, they change them to fit their views.
I am feeling guilty as we, in western Montana, bask in 50 deg weather with copious sunshine. Ski season kind of sucked, though. There are trade offs! The last couple of winters were long and cold. This one not so much.
I, for one, DO NOT welcome our new Polar Bear overloads.
I'm still wondering if it will start one of these days and keep on till mid-June.

My school teacher wife and high school senior son are enjoying the “wind chill day” off today in Michigan.
Here’s a Science 101 primer for Bill Nye - Climate Change Compliance Guy.
Pollutants, agricultural methane (cows), and deforestation cause a greenhouse effect which melts the ice caps which causes fresh water to suppress and stall the ocean circulation which causes drastic cooling in a very rapid time period. You lefties need to get your basic crap down. So, unless or until the caps have melted substantially, it’s just cold weather that is countering your warming. Embrace it and FO.
I could use a seven degree rise in temperature right now. With the wind chill it feels like 0 out there.
It is not now, nor has it ever has been about climate change.
Because of this, facts do not matter to those that are behind the “climate change” lie.
It is about controlling the people.
I sometimes wonder about those that blindly accept the lies really understand the world they are attempting to create.
If their views win in the end, I don’t think they will like what they have helped create.
We, as a nation, are moving towards a chasm (some think we are already crossed over the edge and like a cartoon character are suspended in mid air until we realize it, and will then fall). Me, I believe there is still hope.
The socialist are a minority in this nation. There power comes from the fact they are concentrated in government, schools, and the media. The are the great gate keeper of ideas, they can build up lies and demonizes the truth but they can not change the hearts and minds of the average American.
We are approaching a tipping point. Something will happen that will unleash the anger that is building across this nation. It will not be pretty.
