Back when unleaded gasoline was the norm, there were intersections in New York City where the lead concentration on the ground was higher than would be expected near a lead smelter.
But driving through red lights may quickly kill you.
Well, that settles it; no more stopping at red lights, may as well die quickly.
Yah, if you made it through the 40's, 50's, 60's while spending much time in a car, your're good to go now.
Which is why I am always against red lights.
Always set your circulation to remain in your air. I never let in outside air.
Not because cigarettes are good, but life was better when there were fewer do-gooders, people didn't worry about pollution concentrations at traffic lights. Sheesh!
You aren't going to live forever. So ... just live.
Look at that. My fingers can't even type the word "leaded."
I went into a Lowe's a few weeks ago to see if I could get lead shot for a science project my daughter was doing. One of their helpful sales people came up and asked if I was finding everything I was looking for. I told him that I was looking for lead shot, and he said "there's no lead anywhere in this store; I know this because I'm a plumber."
Nothing that a hunting/fishing store can’t solve!
Wait until you try round-abouts with American drivers!
You’ll bet for stop lights!
The study is false. There are more traffic lights than ever, and we’re living longer than ever. Inverse proportionality. It’s Obamacare that’s going to kill us.
One of the reasons I enjoyed roundabouts in the UK rural areas.
That said all intersections were roundabouts and not a mix of them. Further people knew how to drive them properly.
In the cities and a few large intersections some had lights. Had to otherwise you’d never be able to get in.
“””Always set your circulation to remain in your air. I never let in outside air.”””
Till the windows fog up.
Regressive liberal government policy that promises to protect us will kill us much sooner than traffic lights.
The crisis-industry has found so many things that are killing as that it’s a wonder that we’re not all dead.
As an aside, this station was in an inner city neighborhood, and the owner of the station had an ‘attack dog’ to protect the place. The dog was trained to respond to the word “hit”. One time a customer became violent and threatening, and the owner told the dog to “hit”. The dog ran over and pee’ed on the customer's leg. It worked though. The guy just left.
“I never let in outside air.”
If you ride with me you WILL, I promise you.
I do love me some Daily Mail UK, but they have a tendency to publish some of the most crackpot medical/science stories around.
The comments sections after these kinds of articles bear that out.
