Barry is using the propencity of Christians to feel bad about their past actions by dragging up actions that ended 140+ years ago.
This is to draw attention away from the actions of his 7th century cousins.

You hit the point of what Obama was doing. The real outrage is that he would use the Crusades and past slavery to justify the Barbaric actions of a murdering religion.
The actual truth is that Islam is not a religion of peace because their prophet participated in and encouraged forcing conversion by any means necessary. People are asked non violently one time to convert or die. If they do not, they die or pay a tax and live as a slave.
Now we know that all Muslims do not want to participate in the killing and violence, but they still remain in a religion that they know justifies the actions of ISIS or groups like Al Qaeda.
Obama is an angry man, most progressives are. They hate religion, particulary Christians because they feel it isn’t fair that anyone be judged for their behavior. In his mind, ISIS is the underdog.
These last two years are going to be an unrelenting assault on America by Fredo Dogeater and all the other transnational cultural Marxists.
When are people going to realize the Democrats are anti-American and a danger to US security?

But not telling the whole story is telling a lie, and you lie when you make such a statement. The Crusades were in response to muslim invasions, not in the name of Jesus. They fought as Christians, but they did not wage war for Jesus as your comment wants to suggest.
Also, McCarthy was right. Dead right.
He has always felt this way. He let it out now because he’s mad that his buddies in IS are getting bad publicity for chopping heads off and burning people alive.

He did attack Christ at that breakfast. He said Christianity advocated enslaving black people. I am not so sure that people justified slavery in the name of Christ. He deliberately mislead the group about the motives of the Crusades. He also said that the South employed Jim Crow Laws in the name of Christ. All of these are deliberately misleading, to make a the religiously ignorant believe it is in the Bible.
However, we can go a step further. He quoted passages from the Torah, Bible and Quran to make it appear that both books preach similar messages.
Torah: Love they neighbor as you love thyself.
Bible: Put on love which bind everything in perfect harmony.
Quran: None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.
What he failed to mention is the muslimes do not consider the infidel their brothers.
Perhaps he wasn’t attacking Christ. He was certainly mocking Christians and therefore Jesus Christ.

It’s important to note that there are two kinds of people that hate America as a nation. The distinction is important.
1) Ones that genuinely hate America and want to leave and become a citizen of another country.
2) Internationalists, who hate the very *idea* of nations and countries, and seek to undermine them in favor of an international socialist regime. Such people would never choose to leave America, while still intensely hating it. They want to destroy America, its heritage, its borders, its history and culture, its unique language, the heterogenity of its people, and its very purpose for being a nation.
Importantly, the first group are legitimate, and should be allowed to leave and seek citizenship elsewhere. Often when they do so, they are happier.
However, the obstinate and obnoxious second group strongly resist leaving; but it is to societies’ and our nation’s benefit that they do leave. They are not patriotic. They support our enemies. They seek to hurt those around them. As such, they are antisocial socialists.
So optimally, if they are deported, they should be deported to a nation that already has the socialism they crave. Such as Cuba or North Korea. Deposited there with little fanfare, perhaps they will indeed be happier. But they should never be allowed to return to the nation they hate.

I seem to recall some pivotal battles in cities like Tours, France. What lands besides those of the Levant and parts of the old western Roman Empire did the Crusaders invade and keep—and that land only temporarily?
Take note of Obama’s use of “high horse”—as if sins that Christianity in general has repented of makes Christians have no leg to stand on for criticizing the “Muslim world” (as he calls it) for continuing those practices, which are of course justified in the Koran and Hadith.
The people with the authority to stop him have said they won't stop him, indeed in many cases are supporting him. Why wait? For what?
