Maybe give those pain pills to the people working at Jurassic World. Looks like they’re going to need some big tranqs.

Nah. It’s a generous thought, but I need them. The first time I took one was the first time in over 35 years that I didn’t have any pain. I like it!

Ah, yes. Generosity killed the cat.

Or something like that, anyway.

pull the stove out and hunt for mouse holes?

Might depend on the frequency in which you experience rodentia..

In this Olde Farmhouse that we are allowed to cohabit with several Feline Overlords, when we see one or more of said Overlords paying extra interest to the area containing the range, dishwasher, and sink we can be fairly sure that there is one or more guests that have come in from the cold.

I have a small collection of electronic rodent sleep-aids that work well.

Should you acquire one or more, DO NOT use peanut butter as bait even though the manufacturer says so. The peanut butter does work BUT oil from the peanut butter eventually gums up the works and renders the unit incapable of offering a good nights sleep to a rodent that checks in. (This may be the manufacturers method to increase sales.. ;-) Use stuff like stale bread, small chunks of cookie, anything that is not oily or exuding any other such gunky stuff.

If I discover that a guest has inadvertently expired in the night, I give then an eternal membership in our exclusive inground pool and spa club whee they can become one with the universe.

are stored on the RAID.

Well, if it's a raid you need, I'm sure your version of BATF or NSA or EPA or such will oblige.. ;-)

I finally got hold of the thrift store, and they will be here tomorrow to pick up the stuff that is waiting patiently, and being covered with pollen thingys.

My BP was down almost 40 points about an hour ago, and that tickled me no end! I must be doing something right!

I cooked up some noodles for lunch to go along with the last chicken breast I found in the bottom of the freezer, yesterday. I used the last of my bread crumbs to bake it in, and two things were abundantly clear: the noodles and crumbs both were stale, and no amount of Italian seasoning or butter could change the taste of the lunch. My mouth hates me.

So lunch wasn’t all that. I had another stick of string cheese to fill up the gap in the tummy, and will plan on having soup tomorrow. No tuna, though, and the string cheese is looking skimpy.

It felt good to get the closet squared away for the hotter months, but I think I overdid it. My bad.

I contacted an attorney and was told that since I wasn’t injured, I would probably have to hunt for an attorney who could handle dangerous “almost” episodes. In the meantime, there was an email from the food company who said they were sending me “some coupons” so I can continue to enjoy their foods.

I replied that I would send the coupons back because I wasn’t about to buy any more of their products. I said it nicely, but I meant every word.

Told you not to bury those assault weapons in the field East of the silo...

Now we’ll be raided for sure.

I’m pretty cranky right now. I’m still trying to recover from my
last chemo session. I’m planning to talk to my oncologist about
skipping the next two sessions of nasty drugs and going straight
to the Herceptin for the rest of this year.

The side effects are getting worse and worse with each session,
so I’m going to get the nasty drugs off the last two sessions.

I can’t stand the painful side effects any longer. The nose bleeds
are bad enough, but other parts of my body also take turns at
bleeding as well. And my digestion is hugely compromised too.
And my long-defeated problems with depression are back with
a vengeance.

I am done with the nasty drugs, and if my oncologist tries to
force them on me, I will consult another oncologist.

What the raid team sees in their heads.

What it actually looks like.

What it feels like.

LoL, Batter it with a night stick.
Resistance is futile.

The logs where extracted from the server card’s flash memory, and the whole thing packaged up for the Geeks to examine at their leisure.

‘Night. :)

All in all, some reasonably positive news.

James graduated to Boy Scouts tonight, looking rather vague, as he generally does.

I’m looking forward to going to bed, but I have to give Kathleen time to settle down first. I can have some tea!

Congratulations to James!

I’ll bet he’s just beside himself with tickledyness.
