I finally got hold of the thrift store, and they will be here tomorrow to pick up the stuff that is waiting patiently, and being covered with pollen thingys.
My BP was down almost 40 points about an hour ago, and that tickled me no end! I must be doing something right!
I cooked up some noodles for lunch to go along with the last chicken breast I found in the bottom of the freezer, yesterday. I used the last of my bread crumbs to bake it in, and two things were abundantly clear: the noodles and crumbs both were stale, and no amount of Italian seasoning or butter could change the taste of the lunch. My mouth hates me.
So lunch wasn’t all that. I had another stick of string cheese to fill up the gap in the tummy, and will plan on having soup tomorrow. No tuna, though, and the string cheese is looking skimpy.
It felt good to get the closet squared away for the hotter months, but I think I overdid it. My bad.
I contacted an attorney and was told that since I wasn’t injured, I would probably have to hunt for an attorney who could handle dangerous “almost” episodes. In the meantime, there was an email from the food company who said they were sending me “some coupons” so I can continue to enjoy their foods.
I replied that I would send the coupons back because I wasn’t about to buy any more of their products. I said it nicely, but I meant every word.
All in all, some reasonably positive news.
James graduated to Boy Scouts tonight, looking rather vague, as he generally does.
I’m looking forward to going to bed, but I have to give Kathleen time to settle down first. I can have some tea!
