Oh, let’s not forget his interference with Israeli elections.

Let’s ‘foster an open, participatory, pluralist society based on democratic values’ by undermining a democratic election and unseating an elected leader and throw the country into turmoil, promoting an agenda that destabilizes not only the region, but far beyond...

And in regard to my prior comment about foreign influence delivering us the Puppet

Excuse my SOAPBOX rant!

I know of many liberal, Democrats who swear up and down that the reason all this unrest happened was because of George W. Bush’s meddling, Dick Cheney’s torture chambers, and Donald Rumsfeld’s piss poor war plan in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Of course, these people also excuse Kerry and Hillary from voting for the Iraq war, because Bush lied about WMD’s! When I point out that both Hillary and Kerry were on the Senate Intelligence committee (and therefore had access to the same intelligence as Bush), they ignore that FACT and go back to the Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld song!

I point out that Bush had 43 countries included in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars! But Bush was a loose Cowboy!

I point out that Cheney wasn’t in charge of the CIA and the “torture” that was used was only used on four people and is BASIC TRAINING for Navy Seals, Army Rangers, and Marine Force Recon candidates! So, how “deadly” can it really be considered?!?!

Lastly, I must agree that Rumsfeld did a TERRIBLE WAR PLAN! The military wanted to go in with guns blazing, shock and awe take over the entire country and then parse it out as the country coalesced behind nationally elected leaders! But Rumsfeld really thought that the Iraqi people would ignore the fact that America abandoned them before and would probably do it again! And thanks to Obama, we ultimately did leave them to the murderous terrorists and dictators of the Middle East!

They completely ignore the REALLY, REALLY bad handling of the war efforts after Obama took over which lead to the rise of ISIS and ISIL! They blame that on Bush, Cheney, and Runsfeld!

Bottom line, they completely ignore the FACT that the US has been battling radical Islam since President Jefferson! I engaged Muslims fighters in The Philippines in the late 1980’s! We were dealing with these jihad savages during Russia’s invasion of Afghanistan. And we ABANDONED them as well!

Since the Democrats screwed the South Vietnamese people by passing laws that basically contradicted the cease-fire agreements signed in Paris, every conflict since has been a DISASTER! Countries cannot count on America, because DEMOCRATS will screw over any other country, so long as they win elections in America!

They have divided the American public from having a unified thought process of FREEDOM is a basic want and need in every person! They have used relativism to convince the American people that third world despot leaders are just as fair and beneficial to their people as our Constitution is to the American people. They have convinced themselves that everything is the same, if you just “empathize with the enemy” and try to see things from the view of the despot!

Democrats are simply EVIL, but refuse to even admit that there is a difference between evil and good!

Exactly.

Though the Russia-haters continually cherry-pick to support their agenda. I did not choose the word ‘coup’ (the YT poster did), but it’s as accurate as our delivery of the Puppet.

See my other comment (23).

Spot-on.

Though I take issue with isolating it to Democrats.

I prefer ‘progressives’, as they are in BOTH parties....

Democrat is simply a leftover legacy label for social liberalism that promotes the illusion of people actually having a choice in this country’s direction...

Wow, a Soros group spent $3000 on the Ukrainian protests.

“The Spilna Sprava activist organization, which has been central in leading some of the protests, took in a $3,000 IRF donation in 2009.”

AH, yes. But Bush did his meddling as an American and in the interests of America.

Baraq is different because he is meddling as a (in his OWN words) “A citizen of the world” and is doing it in the interest of global government.

“I didn’t make the headline.”

Didn’t think that you did. I’m responding to the thread topic.

“If the US manipulating other countries’ elections and power structure is ‘ok’, then them doing it to the US is ‘ok’ as well.”

Where were you in U.S. History classes? Everyone and his dog among foreign countries have been “manipulating” U.S. politics and elections since long before there was a United States. The Soviet Union, Russia, the Russian communists, the Chinese communists, and the homegrown American communists have been infiltrating the U.S. Government since the beginning of communism in the early 19th Century. The United States has already had more than one socialist-communist Presidents not counting Obama.

You also need to understand that the Russian communists and the Soviet KGB didn’t just evaporate and go away in 1991. They reorganized and changed names to work more covertly until such time as they feel powerful enough to come back out of hiding and seize power again. While the Soviet Union occupied and controlled places such as East Germany, Poland, Byelorussia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, Georgia, the Ukraine, and the other former Soviet Republics; their intelligence and secret police services compelled people to spy on everyone else around them. In the aftermath of the reunification of Germany, the seizure of the STASI secret police files revealed how the STASI forced about every fourth person in East Germany to spy on everyone and report their observations in dossiers on each and every person in East Germany. This pervasive presence of the Soviet Communist intelligence services in the lives of East Europeans illustrates a small measure of what has been going on in the Ukraine before and after the 1991 fall of the Soviet Union.

After the fall of the Soviet Union and the Ukraine gaining its independence from the successor Russian Federation, Ukrainian society remained heavily infiltrated with Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian communists who serve the Russian Federation’s former KGB intelligence services in one fashion or another. Under orders from Putin many of these Russian communist agents remain under deep cover within the leadership of the Ukraine and throughout the ordinary walks of life in the Ukraine. Some of these Russian agents have been sabotaging the Ukrainian armed forces and the Ukrainian militia.

With respect to the Ukrainian actions towards President Yanukovich, you need to recognize that Yanukovich is and always has been an intelligence asset working for Putin’s former KGB intelligence services. The man is a thug and convicted criminal, who benefited from the political mentoring provided by the former KGB intelligence services. He and the other ethnic Russians comprised the large majority of all of the Ukraine’s leadership. The ethnic Ukrainians dominated by these Russians have struggled for generations to rid themselves of these corrupt leaders who are now working for Putin’s degenerate form of Russian communism or whatever is succeeding it. The Ukrainians have been trying to use lawful means of bringing about reform, but the recent past history shows how Russian agents like Yanukovich with the assistance of Russian intelligence agents working from within the Ukrainian government have used massive vote fraud, kidnappings, torture, and outright murder to suppress the journalists, politicians, and ordinary Ukrainian citizens, ethnic Russian and ethnic Ukrainian, who got in the way of Putin and his puppets like Yanukovych.

So, it is rather ironic to see you object to the U.S. making some extremely half-hearted and weak efforts to peaceably broker a settlement within the framework of Ukrainian constitutional law in accordance to the Budapest Memorandum, yet you make no such distinction about the direct Russian efforts to overthrow the sovereignty of the Ukrainian people with contempt for the Budapest memorandum and just about every norm of international diplomacy and civilization.

“Oh, yeah...we got the Puppet.”

Yes, but whose? Putin, the Muslim Brotherhood, Soros, all of the above, none of the above?

“But as your point 1, what business do we have brokering any kind of political deal in a country right on Russia’s doorstep? Shouldn’t that be a job for the UN, if anyone at all?”

First, recognize that Yanukovych has been a Russian intelligence asset ever since his days as a thug and convicted criminal. Yanukovych attained his position with the planning and support of the former KGB and its Russian Federation successor agencies.

Second, see the Budapest Memorandum and the later agreements between the Ukraine, Russia, and/or the United States among other nations. Note how Russia agreed to the United States and other nations supporting the Ukraine in exchange for the Ukraine disarming its nuclear weapons forces.

Using its veto power, the Russian Federation is in the position of rendering the United Nations and the United Nations Security Council impotent with respect to the criminal aggressions of the Russian Federation. So, no, the UN is incapable of taking responsibility for this problem due to Russia’s vetoing of any such actions by the UN.

“And how would the US feel if, say, Putin “brokered” a presidential election in Mexico that just happened to install his choice as president?”

About the same as when Russia and Putin used violent intimidation and very massive vote fraud, vote rigging, ballot stuffing, ballot theft, and murders to install Russian intelligence agents like Yanukovich into the Ukrainian government offices.

Totalitarians. Oligarchs. Progressives. Nazi’s. GOPE. All the same trash. The problem with the left/right game they manipulate is that when a leftist oligarch is in power, there is no investigatory MSM watchdog. They are literally allowed to get away with murder. When a rightist oligarch is in power, the MSM watches them with a magnifying glass and over blows all the sinister policies. So we end up with leftist railing against Bush for falsehoods, while allowing Obama to get away with much more sinister policies. So that is why the Oligarchs prefer leftist totalitarians and why we have more of them.

“False.”

Evidently it is true Yanukovych verbally tendered his resignation to the leadership of the Ukrainian parliament, because Yanukovych had the right to challenge the parliament’s vote recognizing his resignation by going to the Constitutional Court and filing a lawsuit there. Since Yankovych never did make a legal challenge in the Constitutional Court as he was obligated to do, it must be presumed he had no supportable reason to file such a lawsuit with the Constitutional Court. So, one way or another Yanukovych chose to vacate his office as President of the Ukraine.

Unfortunately 328-0 does not meet the statutorily required number of Rada votes needed to impeach the President as per the Ukrainian constitution. In addition to which these 'votes' were taken under duress with an armed mob surrounding the parliament building threatening violence.

“Also false.”

The historical record says you are making false statements and false denials as a means of disseminating pro-Russian false propaganda.
