The New York Times has a breathless announcement: Most Republicans Back Climate Action! Except, it's not most Republicans; by the Time's own numbers, it's only 48%, and even that number is very suspect. If they can't honesty portray their own cooked up numbers, how honest can the underlying poll be?
This is the classic way that the Left shifts public opinion; they cook up a poll, produce results they like, and then use it as a club to make whatever they want. They can get the results they like either by leading questions, asking unrepresentative samples, or just by plain making things up.
The New York Times, making things up? They would never do that! Or would they? This is the same New York Times that knowingly covered up evidence of the Holocaust as it occurred, as well as the worst atrocities committed by Stalin in the slaughter of his own people.
Let's start by looking at who conducted this poll. It was conducted by the New York Times (Left bias), Stanford University (Left bias), and "the nonpartisan environmental research group Resources for the Future". How many "nonpartisan" environmental groups do you know? The questions were of the nature of

Incontrovertible proof that global warming is real. I dare anyone to watch this video and deny that global warming is happening. There is no other explanation for those temperatures!
I am concerned with real problems. I don’t have time for chimerical figments of ignorant people’s imaginations.
Love that!
I'll take all the Methane you got when oil runs out.....
While I admit that summer makes me uncomfortable and I have to take precautions, I wouldn’t say that I fear it.
People who deny can not explain how last Ice Age ended.
People who claim global warming is MAN MADE have no proof whatsoever.
Global climate is never constant, because Sun activity is never constant. Natural cycles have been taking place for 100’s of millions of years.
Really, the Media is so biased and distorted these days that no one should actually pay attention, much less believe anything the say!
Might as well be Al Jerreiza publishing their viewpoints! What, they do?
Of course global warming is real.
Only an idiot would accept your challenge.
The earth is not yet a dead planet. In spite of the nut cases.
The battle is about anthropogenic global warming.
If that is not obvious to you yet, no genuinely scientific explanation is possible.
Anyone who hasn't yet grasped the difference between climate and weather is a hopeless case.
This is the same Communist paper that coronated Fidel Castro as a “freedom fighter.” They can be counted on to take the anti-American side in every issue.
Did you actually watch the video? It's safe, it's a Fox news broadcast. I suggest you watch it, it's less than 2 min long. Here is the link to it again, to save you the trouble of looking for it in my previous post.
I guess I should have put the /sarc tag in that post, because apparently my facetious tone in that post did not come across very well. I left it out because I figured people would watch the video (or see the web address that shows up when you hover over the link) and understand.
The subject of global warming actually concerns me a lot. Without carbon dioxide, there is no life. Yet global warming true believers are rabidly fanatic about removing carbon dioxide and about stopping any process that produces CO2 (which is most chemical processes). If they had their way, a lot of CO2 could be "sequestered" before any noticeable effect on atmospheric concentration could be observed. But by the time those CO2 "mitigation" efforts showed noticeable effect on atmospheric CO2 concentration, there would be immeasurable damage to the biome.
The Chicago affiliate posted the video, but the video actually comes from Arizona. Please watch it, if you haven’t already. It is hilarious.
The Old Gutter Rag has been tearing it up lately.
You’re right ! It IS hilarious ! Thanks.
It is Satan's newspaper.
I printed it out and put it on the wall of my garage/workshop some time ago. ;-)
