Both quarterbacks have won four super bowls with their teams. Who's the greatest quarterback of all time? Joe Montana or Tom Brady?

Right.

Pre-’78 is completely different. Unitas, Tittle, Jurgensen; seems like they’d have monster records today.

Bradshaw might deserve consideration. Being a TV caricature of himself obscures his sensational talents.

Sorry to be iconoclastic, I simply was not interested. Over and out. 10:4.

You think Tom Brady played prior to Mel Blount rule?

“I never once saw TB look to the sidelines asking what play to run next.”

***

Which is fine if the plays work. Many times they didn’t.

Bradshaw was only as good as the people surrounding him. He was very fortunate to have the best wide receivers of that era. He had Franco, a stellar running back. The offensive line did its best to protect him, but more often than not, Bradshaw hesitated too much. He often couldn’t find his receivers. And he ran too often himself. Good way to get seriously hurt.

You are in the majority and I’m in the minority regarding Bradshaw, but I don’t think he was as wonderful as most say he was.

Brady. Wins MVP again, and he gets to go home and drill Gisselle. No contest...

And Bob Griese’s kid Brian Griese did well also in college and in the pros.

Tom Brady and Brian Griese were both quarterbacks for the Michigan Wolverines in the good ole’ days.

But hey, Harbaugh is back now so we’ll see.

“And the catches receivers make are the things that make people say .. “What a good quarterback”, when the act was a joint effort”

Very true.

Of all time?
Y.A. Tittle.

Tittle dropped turds in the toilet bowl that were tougher (and some were bigger) than either of those two blow-dried, limp-wristed, metrosexuals. (Especially Brady.)

And his teammates said they were non-flushable. Tittle’s turds are reputed to have flexed and twisted in the commode, straining their muscles, fighting—refusing to admit defeat and be flushed.
And they actually grieved being separated from him. I don’t know how the Giants evicted them from the premises. A backhoe possibly.

Both quarterbacks have won four super bowls with their teams.

Bart Starr won FIVE NFL championships with his team.

But the real question is, Who will be the better actor?

Brady in Ted 2, or Bret Fav-ruh in ‘There’s Something About Mary’?

I don’t know if I’ve seen a luckier catch than the one the guy made that put the Seahawks down by the goal line.
