Both quarterbacks have won four super bowls with their teams. Who's the greatest quarterback of all time? Joe Montana or Tom Brady?

It took a huge goal-line stand and a last minute drive for SF to win those two SBs against the Bengals.

4-0 in Super Bowls is pretty impressive. But Brady is currently 4-2 in Super Bowls and the two he lost went down to the wire. He could easily be 6-0 if a play or two in each of those two games went differently.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but that is a pretty silly argument.

Of course things would change if "a play or two went differently".

Yeah, he could be 6-0, but he could also be 0-6 if a play or two went differently. He could have easily lost tonight if a play or two went differently.

But, they didn't go differently. They went the way they went. He's 4-2.

Brady didn’t win this one.

The Seahawks handed it to him.

Looks like you’re talking geography more than football.

Actually, it depends upon his protection! He does seem to get a bit confused if pressured. I do like the quick passes though as they planned it to prevent unwanted pressure.

Good quarterback but still has problems if facing a good defensive rush. His Achilles heel. Fortunately, his offensive line has kept him out of trouble and so he is the hero.

Well, as I stated earlier, the deflated balls were only used in the first half, the half in which the Pats played poorly. The Pats completely dominated in the second half in which they played with properly inflated balls. So again, your point is irrelevant. You are breathlessly grasping at anything.

You are just another jealous fan of a mediocre team, which is understandable. By the way, Seattle was out coached in the game - wasn't even close.

This is playing under pressure for real

And this is who wanted your ass

I see these overpaid thug players today crying and leaving the game like a Soccer flopper...big bad pu$$ies

more real live men with guts playing the sport

"My team has been caught cheating multiple times, but that is irrelevant."

I guess if that is your value system, then nothing I can say will make a difference.

Re: “Brady would never have lasted in the era of Otto Graham.”

Sorry - I disagree.

Brady (6'4" 225lbs) would have been just as strong and heavy as many of the guys on the defensive line in 1950, and, in his younger years, he was faster (and bigger) than most linebackers in 1950.

The game has changed, in large measure, because the players have changed.

Go back and watch a video of the 1972 Miami Dolphin perfect season.

Three things will jump out at you:

They are all small - they are all slow - and they are all white (well, not all white, but close).

Physically, there is no way to compare 2015 with those earlier eras.
