Why yes, I have indeed visited someone in jail.A convicted felon, as a matter of fact.

I also know that ordained ministers have to take a class before they can visit people in jail, here in Florida, in order that their visits not be counted against the total family visits allowed a jailed prisoner per week.

That's before any trial, ie the prisoner is supposedly still presumed innocent, but unable to pay the pre-trial bail amount.

I seriously doubt most visitors are worse than the inmates, both pre and post trial.

As for myself, I have never been incarcerated for any alleged crime.
Yet.

Come to Monmouth County jail and I'll show you the visitors. Harassing the guards, slowing up the lines to get into the visitor center by cursing at cops and generally behaving badly. Not to mention they seem to have bugs.
