For me, War and Remembrance was the ultimate Holocaust series, there are scenes in that that make what was in Schindler’s List seem tame, and that was a Made-for-TV series.

OK! I haven’t seen it since it was released and I’m no expert on the Holocaust. That scene made me insane! Too effective a movie for the likes of me.

I am going there this summer, I don’t think anything can prepare me for it, but it’s one of those things that anyone with the ability, should do once in their lifetime.

For me a trip to Auschwitz would almost have to be led by someone like Kitty Hart-Moxon.

In light of all the flak American Sniper has been taking from the Left, nobody ever blasted Spielberg for his lack of "ambiguity" for portraying the Nazis as the bad guys.

The left are desperately clinging to the fantasy that the nazis were right wingers so there is no need for ambiguity.

Fortunately I think that facade is slowly beginning to come down.

I thought it was an exceptional movie.

Schindler started out purely motivated by profit and ended up broke and wishing he had made more to spend saving more lives.
