If anyone saw Ted on Fox News with Megan K-He had the focus group laughing- He was only on for a minute. Imagine what he could have done with the whole response.
I wanted her to show up with harry reid's balls in a plastic bag and carrying her 12" Buck knife between her teeth.
Anything less was disappointing to me.
Ted Cruz or Tim Scott who is also a “rising star”. But noooo, they had to pander to the women. Conservative women are already on board and liberal woman will never be. Wasted opportunity. They should have been talking to middle class guys who have been left behind. IMHO
Joni did good - many here are torqued because she didn’t get down in the mud/blood/beer, but it was reasoned and rational, pointed out foibles w/o attacking and was measured so that the whole audience could hear/understand/digest some truths of Obama’s foibles.
The GOP is run by Romney, whose partner is Soros.

At the speach—the GOP should have turned their backs on the Poser in chief—There should have been no clapping from the GOP—Not one at the give away lines “I support the Troops!” and the GOP goes off like Obama said something great. all the respect the GOP showed only gives the Progressives more reason to laugh at us. Look at Obama’s “Joke” -— All his laundry list was put out for was as clubs to hit the GOP over the head with when they rightly reject them. They fell right into his trap. Only Ted Cruz saw through the smoke and mirrors.
Her words were okay, but my husband said what I was thinking; she sounds like she’s whining and too scripted. No real passion showing the country we’ve had enough of obama. People are mad about our debt and want to see someone who had the fire in them to do it. Someone like Cruz.
Yeah, I also thought Joni did fine for the situation. The best thing was that she didn’t even acknowledge Ocarter’s speech, but presented a different vision and focus for the country.
But Ted really did knock it out of the park both with Cavuto and Megyn! That dude was born to be a communicator.
I too wish she would have shown a bit more passion and let her real self out. But I guess if she bashed obama right out of the box the media would be Palinizing her this morning.
I think because she is a woman and tough like Palin. A little too soft spoken but did well.

Jindals response years ago single handedly killed his chances of being president in my opinion.
That aside, what I did see of her was pretty monotonous and dry. But at least she didn't try to claim credit for low oil prices

My mom used to make us put bread wrappers over our shoes, too. My personal opinion was that it made my feet sweat and only made the cold more uncomfortable when you were out there long enough to cool your core down, but Mom was the boss.
